I only mined about a quarter of what I paid for the device and for two months now, no support, no rewards. Is there anyway I can return this under warranty and get a new one? ### 2/5 — Update new location *2024-08-03, version 1.5.12* It seems that when I try to change the location from east to west or north to south, the degrees don't update correctly. For example, if you're at 30° and you want to change it to 60°, it doesn't work; it stays at the original degree. ### 2/5 — Helium works but.. *2024-03-30, version 1.5.4* Today and yesterday the app has been pretty buggy for ex today i had my account balance not show at all. Without doing so it wouldn’t claim. Now for the past week it doesn’t claim at all. Logging out and back in doesn’t help. It says success and that it claimed only to not claim at all. I’ve u installed the app, every helium app and reinstalled. This fix doesn’t work either. Can’t find a way to contact support so I’ll leave this review here. ### 1/5 — Won’t let me activate *2024-02-22, version 1.4.3* I get the same error on my iPhone android phone. I also tried entering the information manually but the button is greyed out. Connection Error Please check your connection. Be sure you're connected exclusively to Helium-5218, no global and/or private DNS config is set on your phone, and no VPN is turned on. The initial installation was easy and for about a month I was earning rewards, now it’s just plugged in stealing electricity. I’ve tried everything from the reboot process, reset process, disconnecting and reconnecting the Ethernet cable, nothing is working correctly and I am not receiving any rewards. I’m not sure if there was a new update that I have to manually install or what but there is no point buying the hotspots until they start providing some real support for those who enjoy the mining process. Every set up screen locks up. It’s slow to update location, puts you in the wrong location and when I tried updating the location, it told me I didn’t have enough Solana to complete the transaction. What?? Where does it say I need Solana to complete setup?? I transferred Solana to the helium wallet then when I got back to that update screen, it pushed me to the wallet, then back to the update screen then back to the wallet. I was stuck in an infinite loop of nothing. This app also made my iPhone REALLY HOT. I’m going to have to figure this app out between an iPhone and Google pixel but come on, Helium. This app is just plain horrid. Also I have to say again while I’m writing this review the app locked up again, stuck in that spinning circular snake, saying it’s updating hotspot information. ### 1/5 — Very buggy and sluggish *2024-03-23* I’m using a iPhone 13 Pro Max, there should be no reason the app takes 5 seconds to register the click of a button. If I try updated a hotspots location it takes several minuites to even get to the location assertion screen. **Developer response:** We apologize for the issues you've ran into. If you have multiple or even just one hotspot not being notified when it goes off line is a missed opportunity. I get all the duplicative marketing notifications popping up across my Helium apps but when a device that's making me money goes offline there's no way to know unless I actually happen to check the app for whatever reason.
