## What is HELIX Netball Stats?

HELIX records netball match statistics, courtside, in two taps.

Built by a netball parent for the person who keeps the team's record - the volunteer, coach or manager with a phone in one hand and a game to watch. It replaces the clipboard, the notes-app tally, and the half-remembered match.

HOW IT WORKS
Tap a position, tap what happened - a goal, a miss, a turnover, a penalty, an intercept or a rebound. Either order. That's the whole interaction, and it never changes, so it's in your thumbs by the second quarter. The match clock, the score and undo stay on screen the whole time.

READY WHEN THE WHISTLE GOES
Your stats are there the moment the game ends: shooting percentages, gains and losses by position, a breakdown by period, and a full match timeline you can export as a PDF and share.

PLAYERS, IF YOU WANT THEM
Add your squad and put them on court, and every stat is attributed to whoever was in that position at the time - substitutions included. Skip it and HELIX records by position alone. Both work.

MORE THAN ONE TEAM
Keep records for as many teams as you like and reuse the same players across them.

BUILT FOR GAME DAY

Live recording, redesigned. Our stats recording tool is now two sliding panels with more visible buttons. We've also tweaked our stats to better reflect on-court action, added a centre pass indicator, match-specific lineups (and kept team lineups) and a post-match event editor to fix any recording errors.

### 1.8.0 — 2026-07-15

This update brings a richer stats panel, a new lineup builder, a refined post-match substitutions editor and a new tool to view and edit all events recorded during a match, play-by-play, with a visual possession indicator. Perfect for those "oh no!" moments.
