As a person who wishes of living in the ancient world, I think this is a great start. There’s tons of sites and I’m sure it takes a lot of effort to compile all this together. I’m sure as updates happen the app and information will only get better

The app worked fine for me, but the content for Ancient Olympia was 90% worthless. It’s mostly descriptions of where the structures are, how many rooms and columns they have and which direction to find the entrance. I was hoping it would bring the ruins to life like the Acropolis companion app. Not worth the download.

The app crashes every time I try to begin a tour. (This disappoints me greatly to have to submit this review)

Je l’ai téléchargé pour le musée archéologique de Rhodes. Impossible d’afficher les explications sur le musée, cela crash systématiquement à la sélection d’un espace.

### 1/5 — Slow, tour audio doesn’t align with buildings, unnecessary information

Audio gives unnecessary information, feels like she rambles after the point is made. The sites don’t feel like they match with the audio, for example, the narrator will mention a topic, and you won’t even see it it could be ahead of you already by a few buildings.

There should be a way to speed up the audio, a basic audio function, but you can’t. This affected me so negatively that I accidentally clicked off an audio and it made me restart the whole audio memo, because you’re not able to skip ahead either which should also be a basic feature.

If some basic fixes were made this would make the audio experience much better.

The presentation of the tours is done with such a bland and monotonous tone. The information given is not for the average person but may be more interesting to an archaeology student. I tried to give these guides a chance but lost interest with the amount of unnecessary details.

First of all, thanks for the app being free!
It would be great to be able to listen to the audio at different speeds, which the regular aufio player on ios supports (eg 2x speed). I am walking fast, the audio is slow, so I had to skip multiple audio tracks. The map feature helped me quite a bit as well.

This free app was an amazing find when we entered the Acropolis. Each monument corresponds to an audio file in the app which provides very interesting commentary. So easy to use and fun to go back a listen again! Would thoroughly recommend and was so glad that this was being offered at the historic sites.

I was not content with the app! First it looks good and organized but if you want to download the tour you’ll see that it does not work and you still need to be online. The information were not concluded but very long. I stopped using the app after listening the first 6 minutes. No recommendation, even though the idea is good
