Removed a lot of stuff from the free version. App removed from my phone greedy people

**Developer response:** Hi there, We actually haven't removed the core tools from the free version, forecasts, aurora spotting, maps and real-time alerts are all still the same. The only previous feature that moved to the Pro tier was the last cycle historical data. With the new version we improved the UI and make the Pro feature that was hidden more visible and add more to features to support the paying Pro users's experience that keep the app running. The free versions remains pretty much the same. Is there is a specific feature you noticed missing besides the cycle historical data?

Funktioniert nicht. Vollkommen egal welche Gegend man auswählt und welchen Umkreis. Man bekommt ständig Alarm aus Norwegen. Dafür wird man bei Alarm aus der direkten Umgebung nicht alarmiert. Sondern bekommt nur eine Nachricht. Ich werde wieder kündigen.

I have used this app for several years and liked it but now something has gone wrong.
Please look into this!
I live in Iceland and am a guide all over Iceland. Last night (this morning sep 6 at 4am) we had wonderful aurora in the capital area but app would NOT allow me to report it or share photos stating none could be visible at this time. Please look into this!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for using the app over the years, I’m really glad to hear you’ve enjoyed it! I’m sorry you weren’t able to report your aurora sighting. The report feature is based on probability calculations, and since your sighting happened at an unusual time, it may have slipped through the system. I have checked the activity during the date and time you mentioned, the aurora oval passed at 03:30 am and the activity was weak which could be the reason why it won't allow you to report it. I have been thinking about the possibility and we have had non-aurora photo reported in the early morning in the past while I aim to make the calculations as accurate as possible, there can occasionally be small gaps. I’ve already made a little tweak to improve this, and I truly appreciate your feedback and support. I’d be grateful if you could consider updating your review, and I look forward to seeing more of your aurora reports in the app! And do not to reach out to me at contact@hello-aurora.com if you encounter any issue. I would be more than happy to hear from you. Wish you best best aurora season ahead!

Beautyfully designed app. As a suggestion, when there are two or more moments in the same location you can’t click to see the photos taken in the map view.

Just another stupid, arrogant developer who requires registration to use the app. The only reason is to collect personal data and sell or give it away!!

The app won’t get past the email verification screen, despite me successfully verifying my email address. I clicked through for ‘app support’ but it just takes me to the main ‘hello aurora’ website.

What's new on the map
- We’ve rolled out a series of upgrades to make navigating the Map screen and tracking aurora sightings smoother
- Smarter clustering: Multiple Moments shared close together are now automatically grouped on the map. Simply tap a cluster to zoom in, or easily swipe through photos taken from the exact same spot.
- New map filters: You can now choose to show or hide Featured Moments. Plus, Pro users can filter sightings to see only those reported in the last 30 minutes.
- Organized Settings: Map settings have been completely restructured into three clear categories: Forecast, Clouds and Sightings so you can find what you need at a glance.
- And of course, we catch the bug along the way. Such as: Moments shared while you are actively viewing the map now open immediately. Locations saved by older app versions now update seamlessly to your precise position.
- We also tidy up layout whenever you report a new sighting.
