### 4/5 — Simple but Free

*2023-03-31, version 1.2*

Would be nice if the app could display a calendar of history longer than a week but besides that I am happy. App is free which is a plus.

### 4/5 — Only in grams

*2023-02-14, version 1.1*

As an American, I prefer to use ounces for food servings. It’s usually easier for protein tracking. This app only uses grams.

### 5/5 — Perfect for my needs

*2023-02-13, version 1.1*

Super simple but great because of that

### 4/5 — Simple and straight to the point

*2023-02-02, version 1.1*

My only problem is that it won’t let you edit any past post. Like if you forgot to add a meal from a previous day, then you’re out of luck

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2023-01-09, version 1.1*

Thanks to the developer for this useful App. Although I have given it 5 stars, it would be handy to be able to edit/delete protein additions.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2022-12-15, version 1.0*

Easy to use
Would be cool if there was a widget for the app so that I can see it on my Home Screen

### 5/5 — Simple and to the point

*2022-11-02, version 1.0*

I like the concept. Doesn’t show the detailed history because do you really need to? Weekly stats resets every week. This is simply to track the protein intake. Able to save in favourites and that’s all you really need. Great app!

### 4/5 — Good

*2022-08-12, version 1.0*

This is a simple app for tracking protein. Love that there are no ads! I do wish they made it so I could remove an item on the daily log though. I use this to track my protein intake while I’m pregnant. Appreciate the simplicity.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-07-09, version 1.0*

BLINK TWICE IF U ARE OK !! Ahah funny joke hahaha

Am i the only one rhat read the title screen saying help!

### 4/5 — :)

*2022-05-29, version 1.0*

I would recommend this app because of how simple it is and easy to follow. I appreciate that there are no ads. The two things that would get it to 5 stars for me would be to add data like serving size to my favorites, as well as being able to remove an item from the daily log (accidentally have added more than I ate before). Overall a great app though :)

### 4/5 — Good

*2022-05-09, version 1.0*

I love this app it’s makes keeping track of protein so easy and it’s completely free. The only down side of this app is that you have to know the amount of protein in an item. It would be a lot better if you could type it in and see the exact amount of protein but still a great app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Erases the past

*2025-11-03, version 1.3*

This app only records the current day all previous days are automatically erased. Don’t waste your time downloading

### 1/5 — Broken

*2023-05-22, version 1.3*

Really enjoyed this app… until it kept crashing and wouldn’t let me add my meal in. Also, no full stop in the options is a massive error - If a meal has 20.4 grams of protein, you can’t add the .4! Really disappointed as I was happy with it

### 1/5 — All manual

*2022-04-15, version 1.0*

This app will not tell you the protein in gr. an item has. You have to know this already. It is literally just listing the numbers you put in.

### 2/5 — Not connected to Health or anything

*2025-10-09, version 1.3*

The app is neat and very easy to use. But it’s isolated. I already input my food in another app and the info goes to Health, why don’t they don’t appear in this app? Basically they should find a way to synchronize data otherwise you have to enter the same things at multiple locations. Uninstalling it now

### 3/5 — Concerning message…..

*2023-08-25, version 1.3*

So I was putting in my weight in the beginning and thats when I realized at the top where it says “Hello, Protein!” The H,E,L, and P are outlined with black… which spells HELP! It’s a little creepy…😨😳

### 3/5 — Needs just a few things

*2023-04-23, version 1.2*

I love the simplicity HOWEVER I need the ability to see previous days’ logs and to be able to edit entries, including previous. If I forget to log something, I can’t go back and add :(

### 4/5 — Simply Good, Basic

*2025-10-29, version 1.3*

No nonsense, basic daily tracker. No history but if you’re just doing a daily tally it works. The database of protein is not great because it often does not specify the serving size. But the favourites feature is best because it lets you save foods and values. I created and researched my own common items and keep reusing them. Thanks for helping me stay healthy!

### 4/5 — Almost Perfect

*2025-01-09, version 1.3*

This app is fantastic! Just what I need to track my protein intake. It would be better if I could edit previous entries (to add protein if I forget!) A widget would also be great, with a progress bar for example. Excellent app overall

### 4/5 — Simple, Easy, Free

*2024-02-29, version 1.3*

It does what it’s designed to do. The only downside for me specifically is I work late night shifts, so when the protein counter resets at midnight, it’s mid-day for me.

### 4/5 — Amazing

*2023-06-26, version 1.3*

No ads, open source , very simplistic . Amazing app. Only thing that would make this 5/5 is a timestamp of when each item was added . It would help track next time to consume protein

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-12-01, version 1.3*

I don’t like all of the other apps to track because there is so much stuff that makes them overwhelming. I love how simple this app is to track my protein or anything else that I want to track.

### 5/5 — Truly Great

*2025-11-20, version 1.3*

I absolutely love how simple this app is. It makes me so happy. Tacking my protein is so easy. I love that it’s not overwhelming and there are no ads or subscriptions or anything complicated. It’s just here to track my protein. Nothing more.
One thing i would appreciate is if they had something on the main page that would tell me how much protein i have left to achieve my goal. Or an option to add protein to a previous day.
Otherwise, great app. Fully recommend.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed.

*2025-02-14, version 1.3*

Love the simplicity of this app. I was looking for a protein tracker but everything I tried had annoying ads or kept begging me to subscribe to premium. This app just lets me log protein intake in peace! With UI, sometimes less is more!

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2024-12-03, version 1.3*

This app is so freaking great. It’s really simple, just a button that lets you add an item, title it, and input amount of grams of protein. There’s the little circle that shows how much of your daily goal you’ve met. I’ve never gotten pop-ups, I’ve never gotten ads, no “subscribe to continue using”. As someone who wants to get fit while on a budget, this app is so refreshing and just so easy. I can’t recommend it enough.

### 5/5 — W app

*2024-11-15, version 1.3*

It’s simple and super easy to use unlike some of the other macro apps out there

### 5/5 — Ideal!

*2024-02-01, version 1.3*

Exactly what I needed to keep a daily log of protein while in a training cycle. Free, simple, can add favourites. Would be useful to be able to add decimals (i.e 16.4g, can only add whole numbers) but it’s minor issue when an app is free and ad free. Downloaded a lot of apps trying to find something and deleted all until I got to this one. Love it and well deserved 5 stars.

### 5/5 — Thank you developer

*2024-01-01, version 1.3*

Really good app, if you’re the developer reading this I appreciate you putting this out for free with no ads. You rock

### 5/5 — Starting page

*2023-09-22, version 1.3*

Refresh the app and look at the starting page!

### 5/5 — Very grateful

*2023-05-07, version 1.3*

This app is simple, undemanding, and easy to use. I want to track protein goals without looking at other calorie counts and this app lets me look up protein content and log it individually. Very grateful that I can protect my mental health this way.
It’s not perfect but for a daily counter it works great.
My feature suggestion is to create a square widget on the Home Screen with the goal circle so I can see at a glance how I’m doing toward my goal.
Thank you to the developers!

### 5/5 — Dark mode

*2023-03-28, version 1.2*

Amazing app! Does what it needs to do! Any update to get a dark mode feature?
