I used this service to refill a prescription for my dog because we didn’t yet have a local vet. Everything went smoothly. The forms in the app are a little clunky, with multiple required fields for marketing info. But service and follow up from HR was great. The app worked smoothly for our session. And the vet we connected with was very professional. I would definitely use this service again. ### 5/5 — My experience with virtual vet *2021-03-30, version 1.0009* I had my first vet visit on Saturday March 27th with Dr. Carroll and I was very happy with the visit. I asked a lot of questions and also was asked just as many from the Dr. I was using my visit as a second opinion more than a sick visit. I had sent pictures and had all my information ready so our visit could go on with no interruptions to gather information. My Dr. was very knowledgeable about my dogs issues and really reassured me I was doing the right things for her. I would not hesitate to use this service and this vet again. As most panicked pet parents do, I googled what this reaction could be, and RINGWORM came up. This app made it so convenient for me to show the doctor what was going on with his skin without having to get my cat in the car, who hates car rides. The doctor was extremely kind, and explained that it was just a bad allergy, and because Taz is so old, his skin gets thinner so the hair falls out more easily. He eased my mind and gave me advice, and I’m just very grateful for the ease and comfort this service brought me. ### 5/5 — Amazing service and vets *2021-01-20, version 1.0003* I have used Hello Ralphie twice for my dog and all around it exceeded my expectations. I have a difficult dog who does not like going to the vet, and with working from home hHello Ralph and it really helped when I needed to get my dog checked out. Dr. Bittner was absolutely lovely and so easy to talk to. She set us up with renewed prescriptions and helped one of our guys who’s feeling much better now with his allergies. Even before COVID it was tough to get in to see our vet on short notice. Through My Virtual Vet we had an appointment within the next 12 hours. The vet saw our pup on video and her team called the prescription in to our pharmacy down the street. It was so fast and easy and convenient! The experience was everything I wanted and more. I picked the vet, the time and the services I needed. Within the same day I had an appointment my fur baby Romeo he was prescribed the medicine he needs. Cheaper then what it would have been taking him to his vet. If you have any questions the customer service number works and and actually person is on the phone ready to assist you!! Thank you!! It is difficult to take mice to an in person vet and have them examined, especially if they are not very friendly. I was able to easily schedule a chat with a vet. He prescribed antibiotics and I was able to get the prescription on the app. The medicine arrived the next day. I was quarantining with my dog after a flight, and I was unable to get to any vet when he got an allergic reaction and developed hot spots. I found My Virtual Vet, and there were immediate appointments available. I connected with Dr Capuzzi over the phone, and she was so knowledgeable and lovely. She called in prescriptions (a rare capability for virtual appointments!) and I was able to get my dog the right medication in no time. The person claiming to be a vet showed up 40 minutes later and didn’t ask one question about my dog. I found it odd they collect your money ahead of time. It makes sense now. I lost $35 and my dog still needs to see a vet. ### 1/5 — Bad UX design is making it unusable *2020-08-22, version 1.090* I just downloaded this app, but can’t even get past the registration section because it’s so badly designed. On registration, It throws an error that gives no information on the solution - “something’s gone wrong. Try again”. Like... ok? What is the issue specifically? How is a user supposed to figure out “what’s wrong” here? Is it a password issue? There’s no guidelines posted to indicate any requirements that could be contributing to that issue. Is it a system issue? Couldn’t tell you due to lazy engineering/design. Are there steps I can follow to troubleshoot? If there are, it’s certainly not telling me. Maybe because my email has punctuation in it? Meaning your coding isn’t up to par to accept email addresses properly? Fix your app and have a talk with your UX designer, because this is a big fat hole to have missed in the development process. Did you do any usability testing? ### 4/5 — Very efficient! *2020-12-08, version 1.0002* I was able to download the & have my puppy seen via FaceTime within a couple hours. Dr. Capuzzi was really nice to work with & was able to call in a prescription. I’ll definitely be using this service again. ### 4/5 — Service not the app *2020-10-28, version 1.097* Convenient to be able to reach a vet when none of my local providers had an opening. There was an issue with the prescription not shipping because it couldn’t be shipped to my state. The ladies were quickly responsive to my inquiries for help. And the script was filled by a local pharmacy. I’m not sure if that’s standard practice for My Virtual Vet, but it would be invaluable to have this as an option when you need meds quickly for your pet. There’s nothing worse than having a sick animal and being unable to help them. Glad this service exists and I won’t hesitate to reach out again if a prescription is needed. My only complaint would have been that their system should have flagged my state as not-shippable, but this has since been resolved as well. As a new cat mom, I’m still learning about my 5-month old kitten Leo. I noticed that Leo was having some eye issues so I really wanted to get a vet’s opinion on whether this warrants an emergency room visit or not. I was able to book an appointment and speak to a vet within 30 mins of setting up an account. The vet was attentive and professional, and prescribed Leo some eye wash that helps relief his discomfort while we continue to monitor his symptoms. Recently, the vet clinic didn’t have any openings available and my dog, Lexi, was barely sleeping she was scratching somuch! Thankfully, I found HelloRalphie! I was able to quickly get an appointment where my dog Lexi was easily diagnosed and prescribed antibiotics. HelloRalphie further stayed in constant communicative support, really going above and beyond with their customer service in their interactions with me, just to make sure Lexi received her antibiotics. The support and care from HelloRalphie didnt stop there either, as they have also sent follow-up emails just to check up on her. Scheduling an appointment with HelloRalphie was the best thing I could have done for my dog, and she is now completely better thanks to their care, support, and exceptional services! I would recommend HelloRalphie to anyone I came across for a multitude of reasons. To avoid the stress of that and having to sedate my dog (there’s no way she would let them take her), I started looking into telemedicine for vets. With so many online to choose from, I randomly chose Hello Ralphie and so glad I did! The cost was also about the same, if not less, as going to our regular vet in person. From start to finish, everyone I corresponded with were amazing. At first, they didn’t have a licensed vet in WA available (which I needed so they can also prescribe medication). Then I was back to searching the internet with not much luck. To my surprise, the next day they contacted me that they asked their WA Vet, who’s currently on maternity leave, and she was willing to make time to see us. I was so relieved and happy! This showed they definitely go above and beyond for everyone. I haven’t even signed up for anything and was just a random stranger that was inquiring about their services. Dr. Conrad was also amazing. She took her time listening and explaining everything to me. She was caring and kept asking if I had anymore questions and did not rush through the appointment. Ordering the medication for home delivery was also very easy via the website. Thank you all again for the wonderful customer service!
