### 4/5 — Bring back the option to delete or modify reoccurring events/habits

*2026-08-21*

I love this but I was really disappointed in the update that took away ability to modify time or delete single reoccurring events in a day.

**Developer response:** We appreciate that feedback. We will be bringing back that feature, along with several other existing calendar event updates, in an app update soon. Stay tuned!

### 4/5 — Templates?

*2026-08-04*

App looks great, I hope vote templates are coming as it promises as I need the feature specifically.

**Developer response:** We plan to support note templates and other exciting journaling improvements in a future update. Stay tuned!

### 2/5 — Requires subscription to use meaningfully

*2026-07-25*

Great concept, however if you want to track more than 3 habits you must pay for a subscription :(

**Developer response:** While there is a habit limit, all features in the app are available for free, including to-do list, habit tracker, timer, journal, calendar, interactive widgets, health sync, and more. Unlimited access requires a payment to support server costs and active feature development.

### 4/5 — Really Helpful!

*2026-06-21, version 3.0.13*

Had all the features I was looking for in a habit tracker, and the separate journal tab is great when I want to get more granular with habit details and notes. A minor aesthetic hang-up, when opening the app, the app logo on the loading screen is slightly off center... doesn't effect the experience much but it's something I notice every time I open it 😅

### 4/5 — 👍

*2026-06-19, version 3.0.13*

Works. It’s pretty good.

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2026-05-05*

I have been looking for an app almost exactly like this for a long time and making do with smaller apps and paper planning. While I still use paper planners for my scheduling, this one app has so many great features. If you already know your goals, routine, and reward system, this is all you need to add to the group and start maintaining habits! I love the distinction between habits you’re trying to build and the option to track quitting a bad habit. The price isn’t the worst I’ve seen and it’s a quality app without adds so I can’t complain! That said, I’d love to see a referral program or lifetime (larger charge) offer. All in all, fabulous app and I am excited to see all of the upcoming new features! I’m along for the ride!
PS - their customer service chat in-app is super accessible, responsive, and helpful!! This element really adds to the value for me.

**Developer response:** We really appreciate your support! Stay tuned for more exciting updates in the future!

### 3/5 — can’t write as much as i’d like

*2026-04-21, version 3.0.9*

i like this app but whenever i try to write “notes” to track progress they always get jumbled up. my second sentence somehow gets pieced into my first and then none of it makes sense. once i get a couple of lines in it just completely stops allowing me to type coherently and start new sentences. since notes on progress is really what i have the app for, it really bothers me.

### 5/5 — Get it!!

*2026-04-14*

Honestly I love this app so so much. Like it gives me even a modicum of motivation to continue and be consistent with my goals. And even if I fall off my streak, the fact that I can see all the progress I’ve made really encourages me to start it up again and prove to myself that I can be consistent in things!

The one thing I wish they could add is the option to “freeze” your streaks if you accidentally miss a day. Yes, I know you can do that manually but it’d be helpful if the day of that goal’s colour changed or had a little icon indicating you missed it once would be great, since it’s much easier for me to continue a streak when it’s large rather than from ground zero.

Either way, get the app! It’s so helpful and useful for you reaching and maintaining your goals!!

**Developer response:** We appreciate your support and feedback! We will look into improving the visual indicator for "skipped" habit days - stay tuned for future updates!

### 5/5 — Fantastic habit tracker!

*2026-04-09*

I absolutely love this app! ADHD life saver ❤️ The visual grid tracking, the granular control over building good versus bad habits, and the built-in journal make it an incredibly powerful tool. It has been a huge help for my daily routine.

To make it a flawless experience, I’d love to see some future updates to the iOS widgets:

Interactive Main Widget: It would be amazing to check off habits right from the home screen, maybe with a fun visual pulse and a toggleable chime!

Quick-Append Journal Widget: A "Today" widget to quickly add a timestamp and note would be a game-changer for quick time tracking and combatting time blindness.

Overall, it's a beautifully built app with a fantastic foundation. Can't wait to see what the developers do next!

### 5/5 — 최고에용

*2026-04-09*

### 5/5 — Sleek and minimalistic design, effective habit tracker, and only gets better with updates over time!

*2026-04-06*

Disclaimer: Detailed Review ⬇️

After trying out a handful of other habit tracker apps, I discovered HelloHabit through an Instagram ad, and it was seriously exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been a Premium user for almost 4 months now, and all of the app’s features have really helped organize and gradually improve my daily life.

I’m a big fan of statistics, so receiving weekly, monthly, and annual updates on my habit progresses are extremely satisfying to see. I also love that you can see a plethora of different statistics in each individual habit whenever you want.

I’ve rarely needed to contact their Support Team (available in-app), but when I have, they are always super informative, helpful, and quick to reply. Additional features have slowly been added over the time I’ve been using the app, and I’m excited for them to add more supported syncing with other apps, more new features, and more quality of life updates!

Some nitpicks, if any:
- The HelloHabit Team has delayed promised features in the past, and then were late to release said features, without any update or notice. But I don’t know how many people are on their team, and they possibly just bit off more than they could chew. I don’t blame them at all and I’m sure they were working overtime to push out the update asap.
- I encountered a bug where a good chunk of my (to-do) Activity Entries were lost and they couldn’t be recovered, but the Support Team was quick to reply and note it down.
- Free users have a more limited feature set. I upgraded to Premium almost immediately.

The Premium price tag can seem expensive, but in my honest opinion, it was worth every cent (at least for me). After all, developers have expenses, so I believe the price justifies the Premium features, the simple yet elegant user interface and design, and the advanced statistics you can view.

Some users are so entitled, impatient, and whiny. I’ve really enjoyed the HelloHabit app so far, and I know it’s only going to get even better in the future!

### 5/5 — Free, simple and it works!

*2026-04-01*

I love everything. The streaks. The color code you can make. The reminders. It’s simple and most importantly, free! I’m on a 40 day streak on all my habits!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback, and good luck with all of your habits!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-03-31, version 3.0.6*

Love it

### 5/5 — Korean

*2026-03-28*

Add korean

**Developer response:** Korean language is now available in the app!

### 5/5 — I’ve read more in 10 days than I have in 10 years

*2026-03-28, version 3.0.5*

I imagine this app isn’t for everyone but from the color coding to the tracking capabilities- this app was made for someone like me and the customization gets better with experimentation. Highly recommend

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2026-08-20*

No information about any necessary payment but it takes 15 Seconds to ask you for 5,99 every month without any reason or any benefit to me. There is nothing included in this app that would require server capacity or connection to outside services it could all be based on my devices storage. just straight up not an application worthy of a subscription model

**Developer response:** While there is a habit limit, all the app's features are available for free. This includes tasks, habits, calendar, journal, timer, widgets, health syncing, and more! A purchase is required for unlimited access to support new feature development and ongoing server costs (notifications & cloud-sync).

### 1/5 — NO! (Just No)

*2026-07-01*

Pay before trying won’t help

**Developer response:** This is not accurate. HelloHabit is free to use forever with task limits. This includes the habit tracker, timer, journal, calendar, interactive widgets, health sync, and more. Unlimited access requires a payment to support server costs and active feature development.

### 1/5 — Asks for a positive review when I just installed it and am halfway through the intro

*2026-06-28, version 3.0.15*

In psychology/research study methodology there’s a phenomena known as participant reactivity bias where participants try to please the person asking them a question/review. This app tries to take advantage of that plus peer pressure by showing users a page of positive reviews less than two minutes after I opened the app and am going through the intro. Absolutely disgusting.

### 1/5 — Can’t use the free version.

*2026-05-09*

Getting extremely tired of a pop up insisting I pay for premium every time I open the app.
Once every so often is fine but it’s all the time and it stops me from just being able to use the app.

**Developer response:** We do not display a premium prompt on every app open - please reach out to our support chat so we can assist you further (Settings > Ask for Help). While we offer all features for free with limits, a premium version is necessary due to ongoing server costs and active feature development from our small team.

### 1/5 — Deleted all data

*2026-05-08*

I was going on months of tracking, the app just pushed an update and erased all my data without any warning or options to save. Super unimpressed with the developers for this.

**Developer response:** All data is backed up to your account and will never be lost. You likely were just signed out of your account. Please reach out in the app support chat (Settings > Ask for Help) and we can assist you in recovering your account.

### 1/5 — False Advertising

*2026-01-20, version 2.12.2*

Like others have mentioned this is said to be $14.99 after the free trial but I was charged $30 before my free trial was up. This app is a scam.

### 1/5 — charges for basic functionality

*2026-01-13, version 2.12.2*

not worth the cost.

### 1/5 — 2 minutes after installation

*2025-12-18*

I don’t even star using this app and you ask me for a review so it’s my review one start don’t use this scam and for autor use a brain how I can give u any review after 2 minutes of use?

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-06-12*

failed to register using any of the suggested methods. Error: unable to login with apple. etc.

**Developer response:** Unfortunately, there was a Google Cloud outage that caused several apps to be unreliable at this time. Please try again and everything should be fully functional. Sorry for this inconvenience!

### 1/5 — Over-hyped waste of time

*2025-05-16, version 2.4.2*

Despite all the hype in reviews, HelloHabit is inferior to most reminder apps, including Apple Reminders. Setting up individual tasks is cumbersome and marking them ‘done’ is problematic, especially on the iPhone (it’s somewhat better on iPad). The new watch app is useless. It’s impossible to add a Habit complication to the watch face (at least the ones I use) and notifications don’t work. So far as I can see HelloHabit has no reason to exist. Reminders, Things, etc, all do a much better job.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Big big fan

*2026-07-31, version 3.1.0*

Love this app with bipolar 1 it’s amazingly helpful

### 5/5 — ADD/ADHD/OCD me Loves You!!!

*2026-07-29, version 3.1.0*

Thank you for making this app. I’ve been looking for something like it for a really long time. Crossing my fingers there are no bugs and this will solve my overactive brain/Memory loss. Have I mentioned I love you for creating this??? 🥰🥰

### 5/5 — Amazing App and Incredibly Fast Support Response Time

*2026-07-16*

Been using this app for a couple months now and loving it lot so decided to give the premium free trial a shot. I was then offered a great one-time-only discounted deal for the 1-year membership but I accidentally clicked out of it. Reached out to support and they immediately responded and were able to re-send that offer and I was able to accept that offer. 5 stars all around.

### 5/5 — Best Planner App

*2026-07-09, version 3.0.15*

best planner app i’ve had and i’ve tried almost all of them. love that you can pick the font for the entire app. will definitely keep using this

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for

*2026-07-03*

Literally the other day I was thinking I wanted an app that did exactly this. I use my calendar app for all my shifts at work, my uni classes, and my appointments. I was thinking about how I wanted an app I could use like my calendar but it was separate and kept track of little things like if I’ve walked the dogs or put the bins out or flossed even, after not even 5 seconds of looking I can tell this app does this and so much more and if I have to pay, genuinely, so be it. It’s exactly what I want and feel like I need in my life to keep me on track and help build routines.

**Developer response:** We really appreciate your support! Good luck with your new routine!

### 5/5 — Exactly what I wanted

*2026-06-27, version 3.0.15*

I started digging into designing and building my own app with AI but I don’t have that skill set. This is exactly what I wanted to build and track a daily rhythm. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Simple!

*2026-06-07, version 3.0.13*

Very simple to use and I love the aesthetics

### 5/5 — Great features!

*2026-05-17, version 3.0.12*

I love the way this app is set up visually, and I keep finding new things it can help with. I highly recommend trying it!

### 5/5 — Only habit app worth downloading

*2026-05-09, version 3.0.12*

This is the only app that has all the features a habit tracking app SHOULD have. Other ones have driven me insane for years - they never make it possible for me to set up things how I would like. HelloHabit, however, is as close to perfect as I’m ever gonna get
