And then a friend recommended this app to me, she now already got a good job and kind employer from this app and hopefully it also happens to me hehehe. And you can't message unless they message you first. You didn't even know if your message was being read. Should improve a bit. ### 4/5 — Easy to find helpers *2025-08-27* HelperPlace is good to find FDH direct hires. I think the app has room for improvement, such as helping with the paperwork or helping verify the FDH visa expiration date. There is really no point interviewing someone whose visas have expired and by HK law not possible for direct hire. The $550 ad for 2-3 months time is reasonable. There are tech glitches such as the chat is not refreshed even when a message is sent.
