### 1/5 — Couldn’t make the UX worse

*2026-06-12, version 5.14.1*

A lesson in how never to do UX. Use a password manager? Well you’re stuffed because you can only manually type your password in. Furthermore, the devs have made it so that iOS deliberately doesn’t recognise it’s a password so you may want to use an already stored one. The worst login process known to man.

What’s more - even the verification code is buried so deep into the email, iOS won’t suggest it. You have to manually go in - remember it (because why would the devs enable copy paste on it when they can watch the world burn?) and then go back to the app and enter it. Horrendous. All the devs should be fired

### 4/5 — Recent update has broken login

*2026-05-28, version 5.14.1*

Since the update the app constantly forces me back to the App Store. Once I login and enter my otp I get a message it needs to be in the App Store looping me back round again. I’ve tried to restart the app and phone but it’s a constant loop at the moment! Not good

### 1/5 — Can’t paste password?

*2026-05-27, version 5.14.1*

Doesn’t allow to paste your password, so can’t use your password generator

### 1/5 — Frustrating to use

*2026-05-23, version 5.14.1*

It always baffles me that larger businesses don’t test their projects, surely after creating something like this they’d engage a testing panel of varied demographics to actually use the app and then react to the feedback. Instead they launch it and wonder why people aren’t using it. I asked colleagues why they didn’t use it as it sounded good, the response was essentially, “it doesn’t work”. I now know what they’re talking about. For some bizarre reason pasting into the password field is disabled. You therefore cannot use a password manager. Which means you can’t save your password which means you forget your password and have to reset your password each time. The 2FA is an email code. Why not face ID? It’s good enough for banks. When you click on savings & discounts you often get a blank page served via safari and if not are taken to a registration page, but you’ve just registered, so you click “already registered” and it takes you to a page with a button that does nothing, so you click back and register again but it’s not a registration page as such, well it is, but it’s pre-filled… and so it goes on. Just awful, bad management and bad development.

### 1/5 — Really poor UI

*2026-05-20, version 5.14.1*

Lengthy login process every time I open the app, including having to retake the medical questionnaire I have already completed.

### 2/5 — Service good poor app

*2026-05-08*

My issues is with the app, particularly the login process. I use a password manager to store passwords and the app won’t allow pasting in to password field or the OTC box. It make signing in harder than is should be. I can sign in to my bank using faceId why can they enable that for this app. When waiting to join a counselling session have a pre session waiting room that opens 5 minutes before. the app can do the pre session checks, have a notification to say sometimes counsellors maybe a few minutes late and will start the session when they are ready

### 2/5 — Clunky

*2026-05-08, version 5.13.0*

Clunky to use having to re authenticate on some sections or constantly re accept t&c. Feels like stitched together junk ware. Millions of articles to read , oh joy more time spent looking at my phone not great for my health.

### 1/5 — Very inconvenient

*2026-05-01, version 5.13.0*

I just don’t understand why this app has such high ratings. Maybe because of medical part. But the only thing that matters to me is Perks. And for whatever reason to get to them the app redirects you to a benefithub website, which is weird.

Also, the way you log into the app is just inconvenient and weird. From the app it takes you to a web where you login and then takes you back. This is just ridiculous!!! What about Face/fingerprint ID!? Every time I need to get a code through my email… this is just lame in this day and age.

I’m very unhappy that my employer switched to this, as previous provider has no issues mentioned above…

### 1/5 — John

*2026-04-10, version 5.13.0*

The app is terrible as the authorisation code often arrives after the window to respond with the code has timed out. The first appointment was then cancelled at very short notice by the doctor and the second appointment was useless as the doctors Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly so the call was useless

### 3/5 — Hard to log in !!

*2026-03-27, version 5.12.0*

The verification code takes 10 minutes to arrive to email and then expires in 5 minutes so it’s difficult to log in!! Otherwise fine app, but please sort this (it’s not my WiFi).

### 1/5 — Log in

*2026-03-19, version 5.11.1*

Having to constantly log into the app and verification codes take 15-20 minutes to arrive each time. Usually missing my consultation in the process.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Extremely poor app

*2026-08-17, version 5.16.0*

This is probably the lowest quality app I have ever seen. It’s difficult to log in, forgets information, crashes and lacks features. I dread having to make a claim. The developers should be ashamed of their work. The company I work for used to use the Westfield health app which just worked.

### 1/5 — Issues not with app, but the “professionals”

*2026-08-06, version 5.16.0*

I had 3 total appointments cancelled, all by the same professional. The issue is once an appointment is cancelled, you then can’t get one for a minimum of 7 working days.

### 1/5 — Terrible UX

*2026-07-17, version 5.15.1*

The login process and UX of this app is terrible. The login in process is unnecessarily inconvenient and requires you to get an email code every single time you log in. You can’t paste the code in either. The app is glitchy and slow as well. Poor design.

### 1/5 — Terrible app, completely inaccessible

*2026-07-10, version 5.15.1*

Whoever designed this app and the authentication flows has obviously never encountered the WCAG accessibility guidelines or even considered accessibility.

The registration flow is needlessly complicated, the app actively blocks pasting and the password policy is ridiculous with an unspecified maximum character length so I had to keep shortening my password until it met your “complexity” requirement.

Overall a terrible app that I’d be happy if I could never use again!

Update: Every time I use this app I die a little. Could the devs please look at the WCAG Accessible Authentication guidelines as it feels like everything they do is at odds with it. Blocking paste for passwords and verification codes is hostile to your users. If I had a choice I’d avoid this company!

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2026-07-10, version 5.15.1*

Really poor app constant login issues bringing up error messages leaving me unable to use the app

### 1/5 — Awful app design

*2026-07-06, version 5.15.1*

The log in process is awful! I’m not convinced any real world used have ever tested this app. It repeatedly hangs when trying to submit claims, the UI is also awful with boxes hidden by the phone keyboard.

### 1/5 — Deserves 0 stars

*2026-06-24, version 5.15.1*

Not allowing paste or use of password manager should be illegal, totally unacceptable and worse can’t use keyboard to scroll back through entered details in login boxes to correct any mistakes have to delete all of it and type again, really poor design

### 1/5 — Terrible verification process

*2026-06-22, version 5.15.1*

Was really ill at the weekend and wanted to book a GP appointment for the same day. Unfortunately couldn’t even get into the app as the one time pass codes and password reset codes were taking about 20 mins to come through then were invalid so have been unable to get medical advise.

### 1/5 — This app is the worst

*2026-06-14, version 5.14.1*

How can an app in 2026 can be so awful. It logs you out every time you close it. Extremely irritating.
