## What is hemma?

Hemma is Swedish for "at home."

Share one photo of home a day. Vote on everyone else's. The photo your region loves most becomes the view on every home screen tomorrow.

ONE PHOTO A DAY
A window, a street, the sea, the light at six in the evening, whatever home looks like to you. Taken this morning or twenty years ago, it doesn't matter. If it's the view you miss, it belongs here. Frame it, caption it, say where it was taken.

SEVEN QUICK MATCHUPS
Every morning brings a board of seven head-to-head pairs from people in your region. Swipe up or down to pick the one you'd rather wake up to. After each vote you find out how many others chose the same photo, never before, so the crowd can't sway you.

THE WINNER BECOMES THE WIDGET
Every Sunday night your region's week is decided, and seven photos are spread across the days ahead. Each one takes over the home-screen widget for everyone who calls that place home, and the photographer gets a "Congrats!" the morning theirs goes live. Small and medium widgets, framed the way you framed the photo.

PICK YOUR PLACE
Spin the globe and choose where home is: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, or the United States. You'll see its photos, vote in its contest, and share its widget, whether you're standing there or half a world away.

EARNED, NOT BOUGHT
A membership is on the way, but for now every extra is free and you earn it. Invite a friend to unlock your impact stats: how far your photos have travelled and how many home screens they've reached. Keep showing up to unlock new polaroid borders. Win a day and the gold one is yours.

QUIET AND PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Sign in with Apple, so you never hand over an email you didn't mean to share. Photos leave your phone without their location data, and every upload is screened before it can appear anywhere. Report or block anyone from the ⋯ menu on any photo or profile, and undo it later in Settings. No ads. No tracking. No analytics.
