Also, as far as content, there will be the same articles listed 2 or 3 times to fill space. I’d rather see a short list than scroll over the same content again and again. ### 1/5 — News? *2012-11-07, version 1.6.15* It's 4:00 pm on November 7, and there are no local election results on the app. This is hard to understand since the newspaper delivered at 4:00 am has coverage. ### 3/5 — Pretty good. *2012-10-26, version 1.6.15* Easy to navigate and find what you want. Minor complaints: the icon is STILL not a retina icon. Really ugly looking next to all of my other news apps with retina icons. Also, social media sharing is nice, but why not use native interface? That'd get you another star, for what it's worth. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-02-01, version 9.19.2* Since the rate has increased so much due to tariffs, I put the app on our IPad for the e edition. My husband will HATE this. I will be reading an article and the page goes back to the top, so you have to scroll down again. Instead of being able to read an entire article, it’s set up just like the physical paper where you have to go to another page to finish reading the article. Talk about old school! My husband likes reading a physical local paper, but I refuse to go along with our rate almost doubling due to tariffs. The E Edition was our other option. What a horrible option. I will pass it on to our development team. ### 1/5 — Worst ever *2022-09-01, version 8.13.5* In a day where media has pushed us toward online app’s, the least they could do is invest in updates. This app works sometimes…at best. Today for example, it will not even open the e-edition. Yesterday, I made it to page 2 before it froze up and would not go to the next page. I’ve tried all the “suggested” solutions, clearing the cache, blah blah blah, that do not help. Really? update already!
