I am a bit of a dinosaur that way. Especially when I’m out of town the phone keeps me up to date on what’s going on at home. What I don’t like is when I log on and the message is that I’ve run out of whatever and need to subscribe or sign in. I’m already a subscriber and that message drives me crazy. Especially if I’m out of town and my password does’t work. I’m 83 and can only keep one password in my head at a time! Just keep me connected, please. I have corresponded with their staff. No improvement in performance. They push their opinion pieces to the top of the feed. Frankly the worst news app, but the only one in the area so… ### 1/5 — Difficulty!!! *2024-07-19, version 3.13.08* I find it very hard to bring the Herald up online. The Seattle Times website pops up instantly, where the Herald makes me click on six different times and then shows me an old edition. The puzzles selection disappeared from the live news menu Under print editions , this menu contains a puzzle selection but when selected nothing ever opens. Now, 2-3 times a day, I get notifications of news stories. I ONLY GET TO READ 1 A DAY. If I want to read the rest of the news stories they tell me about, it’s another $11 a month. Absolute trash.
