### 3/5 — Don't let the free trial start

*2026-08-23, version 1.2.1*

Just be careful with the free trial

### 2/5 — Pricey

*2026-08-18, version 1.2.0*

For an AI driven app that’s not exactly complicated to make yourself, £13 a month isn’t worth it. I’d pay more like £2 a month. This really isn’t worth the price. You’re better off asking any chat bot app to do the same thing.

It’s a well designed app, and credit due, they have done a good job with making it feel intuitive. The only main issue, aside the price, is the meals. They aren’t really that interesting. I’ve tried all sorts of combos, and it seems to just focus on the same things, rather basic meals.

### 2/5 — Needs serious work

*2026-08-17, version 1.2.0*

Tried it, selected vegan as a dietary requirement and it pretty quickly suggested a fish dish. I lost confidence in it from that.

### 3/5 — Potential good but not good

*2026-08-17, version 1.2.0*

The biggest issue with this app is that if you set to have do dietary requirements it offer you ALWAYS meals with meat, chicken or fish. I personally balance my diet and eat animal based one or twice per week. No way to do it with this app!

### 2/5 — Subscription???

*2026-08-17, version 1.2.0*

I really like the idea of the app but u need to pay 40$ a year, I really do not wanna spend money on an app in which I am gonna import TikTok’s for the rest of time. Maybe start adding some advertising.

### 3/5 — Very good idea of the app

*2026-07-28*

Sadly, I struggled to find recipes that suit my taste. A feature to pick favorite and excluded ingredients from a complete preset list would make things much easier, because manual entry is too time-consuming.

### 2/5 — Great app, unrealistic pricing

*2026-07-27, version 1.1.1*

Great idea and a really well-designed app. Even with the 7-day free trial, £13 a month is far too expensive for a brand-new app with so few reviews. I’d happily use it if it had a cheaper plan or a free tier. It has loads of potential, but the pricing puts me off.

### 1/5 — Error 504

*2026-07-24, version 1.1.1*

Error 504 when I try to sign in. Wasting time.

### 1/5 — Refund.

*2026-07-23*

Decided to try the free trial for this app it still charged me $25 and some change before my
Free trial even has begun and I login to my account and it wants me to “sign up for a free trial” again… no thanks. I didn’t even get my first one. Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank because the subscription doesn’t even show up in my list of subscriptions on my iphone. I don’t want to try this app out anymore I just want my money back.

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-07-21, version 1.1.0*

Easy to use, nice to look at, made my life easier, well worth the subscription

### 1/5 — Limited In Choice, Capped On Refreshes

*2026-08-22, version 1.2.1*

TL;DR: The app is good however, be aware of limited recipe choices, be prepared to shop across multiple stores, and that the free trial is not long enough to find out what I have.

A week of using this app was positive however, I soon hit the limitations of what it provides. And that’s when the trial ended and I was charged £35 for an annual subscription.

Firstly, supermarket choices do nothing for the suggestions - I very often got ingredients that required shopping at multiple supermarkets to fulfil the ingredient list.

Secondly, the recipes and images / videos for them seem to be either pulled from social media, or what I suspect worse, AI - not really something I’d expect to be paying a premium for.

Thirdly, if I wasn’t happy with one of the recipes, the app gave me an option of regenerating it however, this is capped to 20 refreshes and the recipes mostly followed the same theme. Even worse, I got the same recipe suggestion 4 times out of my limited refreshes.

This app seems to be a wrapper for a much more white-label framework for which, socials are beginning to flood with alternatives. If I could get my money back for my subscription, I would!

### 1/5 — Have to pay

*2026-08-17, version 1.2.0*

Downloaded the app and then have to pay before you can use the app.

### 1/5 — Don't let the free trial start

*2026-08-15*

The app says it will give you two days notice to cancel the free trial. Yes I should have also checked but when you're busy you can completely forget. The app is also not worth spending money on. I do feel scammed as the app on multiple occasions said it would provide a warning to cancel the free trial and I had absolutely nothing.

### 1/5 — Questionable

*2026-08-09, version 1.2.0*

The App won’t get past the “Import from Socials” page. All text doesn’t not fit on the screen either

### 1/5 — Budget problem

*2026-08-06, version 1.2.0*

Put my budget in as 20 a week as I wanted cheap meals picked 5 meals and came to around 60 pound? What’s the point in being able to set a budget if the app won’t stick to it. Each meal was £10 plus for really really simple meal I could go to supermarket for and find all ingredients for half the price.

### 1/5 — doesnt work

*2026-08-05*

Didnt have to pay, there is a free trial.
My only restricions are that i dont eat meat and that i dont have a microvave. The first recipe the app suggest is some fried chicken chickpea dish. Not for me. The next one is a lenthil microwave soup or something like that.
So it didnt take my restrictions into consideration at all.
Problem number two is the veriaty of meals. I had badically 3 options only. Something with lenthils, something with chickpeas or something with sweet potatoe. it keeps repeating slightöy different but essentially the same recipies.
Importing your own recipies works a little if the video you get it from really has the whole recipe somehwere (which is barely the case for most recipies)
apart from all of that is the app buggy. it wouldnt let me look at the recipies i picked out dor the week. instead it keeps showing me the only one i added and have opened last.

the idea of the app is great. If the developers get to fixing all of these mistakes i might try again. and please add more variety in food recipe options.

### 1/5 — Not accessible

*2026-08-05, version 1.2.0*

I have to use larger text on my phone, however as the app doesn’t appear to let you scroll down on some screens to click the next button etc this app just isn’t accessible to me. It’s the kind of thing that should’ve been thought about really

### 1/5 — Not much verity

*2026-08-05, version 1.2.0*

The app is repetitive most meals are the same with different meat. Would be better if you added more products VERY limited.

### 1/5 — got to pay

*2026-08-04, version 1.2.0*

things sucks , got to pay atleast £10 a month for a glorified notebook

### 1/5 — ai slop

*2026-08-04, version 1.2.0*

entirely vibe coded, the photos are all AI as is the recipes which don’t make a lot of sense/ have errors in them. not worth the money

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

*2026-08-15, version 1.2.0*

This app makes life so much easier! It has been a game changer for my adhd… I would be lost without it now.

### 5/5 — Life changing

*2026-08-15, version 1.2.0*

So cost saving, insane app

### 5/5 — Super Einkaufs und Kochhilfe

*2026-08-13*

### 5/5 — Loving this app!

### 5/5 — Excellent App!!

*2026-08-12, version 1.2.0*

I’ve had Herbi now for a few weeks and it’s completely changed my cooking and shopping game. I’ve saved loads of money at Aldi, and am now eating much cleaner, healthier and more interesting meals!! Would definitely recommend

### 5/5 — Brilliant App!

*2026-08-12, version 1.2.0*

Herbi has been excellent, I have used it for weeks now and have noticed a significant lack of waste when it comes to unnecessary food I buy in the shop.

### 5/5 — One of the best meal planning apps!!

*2026-08-12, version 1.2.0*

I actually love this app so much. It changed the game for me when grocery shopping as someone who doesn’t have a lot of time too cook but loves buying enough food to feed a whole family. It makes everything extremely easy to follow and gives you a ton of options to choose from!!

### 5/5 — Recommend it to anyone

*2026-08-09, version 1.2.0*

I have been using this app now for over a month, I find it so easy to use especially as a dyslexic following instructions and budgeting can be hard for me. I enjoy picking out my meals every week and food shopping doesn’t seem so daunting anymore, I only wish that there was breakfast and lunch added so I can plan out for those too so I can use the budgeting money to its full potential. It’s a great app I’m really enjoying using it, I’m sure the more people use it too the better it will get with the feedback.

### 5/5 — Triathlete

*2026-08-06, version 1.2.0*

One of the coolest ways to cook up meals that I thought were way too hard to cook!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-08-03*

It‘s totally worth it, I saved a good amount of money this week and tried some new recipes!
