My only suggestion is to have an option for a timer. I really enjoy listening to the word before bed time and would like an option to set a timer for the app to stop running. Otherwise this run will run all night. Besides that this app is perfect l! Not this audio Bible! The female narrators are great at inflection. I find myself paying much more attention and my mind drifting far less when listening. The app is simple and easy to use. I am excited to listen more and more to the word because of this. I started listening to the app as I fell asleep and it was comforting until I had to keep clipping on the next chapter. It’s just a different experience listening to the various people omen read the books. I see it is a work in progress and new books are being added regularly. I wish some of the women read more slowly. I like that I can slow down the speed but sometimes have to do it so much that the voice distorts. I also wish it didn’t stop and do the download this after each chapter. Each one brings a different timber and tone and the experience of listening to Scripture deepens and becomes more vivid in color than ever before. My favorites are Ruth and Esther, but I love the New Testament passages too. What a gift you’ve given us! It reminds me of my mom or Sunday School teachers reading me Scripture when I was little. You can select by book chapter and verse, you can read along on the screen, you can flip back-and-forth between books with ease. I even thought of making one myself! Thankfully I didn’t have to, I found this app! Women with different voices and even accents read through the Bible NIV Version. The words being read are highlighted in yellow to make it easy to follow along. I follow along in the mornings, and in the evenings I play Psalms to go to sleep by it with my iPhone timer sit on stop playing in 30 minutes.
