I’m in an agonising cycle of trying to get my street literally on the map, so that delivery drivers can find my house. I add the road, a couple of days later a path is added, incorrectly. I make a correction. A couple of days later it gets corrected, incorrectly. There’s no way to offer comments or more detail at any point, there’s no review cycle, no-ones asking me for more detail. An email or 5 minute conversation would do the job better. Or, y’know, actually basing the map off official town plans instead of vibes. ### 2/5 — Nicht ganz durchdacht *2024-08-12* Die Idee ist an sich nicht schlecht, um die Karten durch die Community zu verbessern. Leider ist die App nicht zu Ende gedacht. Here hat einige fest programmierte Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen, die nicht stimmen. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, diesen Fehler schnell unterwegs zu melden. Ich muss die App öffnen, dann Standortnadel drücken. In der Zeit ist man schon an der Stelle mindestens 1 km weiter gefahren. Zudem muss man die richtige Option finden und dann muss ein Foto vom Schild gemacht werden. Wie soll das funktionieren? Soll man jetzt umdrehen, um ein Foto zu machen?? 😅 und noch am Besten schön Handy in der Hand am Steuer auf der Autobahn… Here profitiert von den Nutzern und sollte wirklich ein besseres Konzept/Usability zur Verfügung stellen! Hier zahlt sich das Investment langfristig aus. ### 2/5 — Unable to Correct Maps *2023-12-16* There appears to be no way to add a road to the map which is shown on the map but not identified as a road. There is no way to add a house with a name to a road. The app requires a house number to be added which houses with names only do not have. ### 1/5 — Abandoned platform? *2022-11-14* Edits from a year ago are still pending. Roads that have existed for years aren’t in there making in car navigation useless. Spent hours submitting changes in poorly mapped area, 2 years later still previous crap guiding into inaccessible streets. UX sucks. Looks like nothing changes, only competitors do good job integrating feedback, HERE does not manage to do so and us prohibitively slow. This should be based on a point system. This way, no one can add or delete something that is not at that particular location. Gave the support 10 months to implement speed limits in the app to allow 5 mph increments instead of 10 mph. Here in the USA 95% of all speed limits are as follows 15,25,35,45,55,65, etc. Then support asks me where I’m from. That is not understood. Sorry, but if you don’t understand that, then you don’t understand mapping. I’m done with here maps and their sorry editor. I would be giving this a 0 if possible. ### 2/5 — Gut gemeint, schlecht umgesetzt *2021-06-22* Bei der Hälfte der Map Tasks steht dran „Referenced Object not found“. Und die gehören da wo sie angezeigt werden tatsächlich nicht hin. Außerdem ist es ziemlich fummelig die Tasks unter den ganzen POI anzuklicken. So macht es keinen Spaß an der Verbesserung der Kartenqualität mitzuwirken. ### 3/5 — Great idea, but still have issues *2021-03-14, version 2.0.7* It’s a great app for editing a wide variety of Here maps data. But it’s have an issue with login process. I can’t use no other than e-mail option, Facebook or Google authorization methods are simply doesn’t supported on mobile version of Map Creator. ### 1/5 — Registration *2021-03-13* You are required to provide your home location. When creating an account you are asked for your date of birth. I will leave others to decide why this is required. I only observe that this information is not necessary for the functioning of the app. However it could be used for illegal activities. ### 3/5 — Kompliziert *2021-03-04* Die App muss man sich erarbeiten, es gibt kaum Hilfe. Es gibt KEINE Möglichkeit mit here in Kontakt zu treten. Ich möchte einen Fehlerhaften Standort in der Karte korrigieren. Der Ort existiert aber nur in den Ergebnissen der Textsuche. Auf der Karte existiert er nicht un kann deshalb nicht bearbeitet oder gelöscht werden. ### 4/5 — Działa tylko z wifi *2020-11-27, version 2.0.7* Bardzo ciekawy edytor map HERE, dzięki któremu możemy wysyłać propozycje edycji map. Dzięki niemu możemy dołączycie społeczności i poprawiać, edytować , drogi które są nieaktualne w mapach. Niestety działa tylko z wifi a szkoda bo edycje można by było wykonywać na żywo podczas pokonywania odcinka np: nowo wybudowanej drogi. ### 4/5 — Nice to correct wrong entries in TomTom *2020-11-19* Nice to correct wrong entries in your Map (TomTom) that will hopefully be taken into consideration in the Next updates of my GPS. I live in a dead-end-street and quite all maps don’t show this. If the Main Street is closed. Many cars and trucks enter our dead-end street because their GPS tells them, that is the shortest way back to Main Street. But it isn’t. One road is a pedestrian way for now 40 years but is shown everywhere as road. And the other is a private road where no-one beside the owner is allowed to go through and it has a wall that safes this. I am missing an attribute to mark a street as a private way or road. And attribute like „crushed-rocks“ as road surface. When trying to add my address, it says the house number is invalid. I would like to help! I made several changes and additions which would make the map drastically better in a region. But I know, they do not know me and trust me not therefore. So I try to upload photos for changes(additions which would easily show that I am right but uploading is impossible. And I tried it with several mobiles, several mobile companies and with stable very good fiber internet but uploading the photos is impossible. Error message says always upload servers are offline. WTH? So yeah, gonna have to give this a 1 star since the main feature I need this app for is completely missing. ### 1/5 — Map used by Amazon not updated!! *2023-05-28* We just moved into a new neighborhood and have had issues with Amazon delivering to wrong address. After looking into Amazon app it shows they use Here maps and it does not show our street on the map, which explains why Amazon is going to the wrong house!
