### 5/5 — Love it

*2024-11-15*

After realizing the widgets can be out of date (and learning that it’s apple’s fault, not the developer’s) my suggestion would perhaps be to just show different stations on the widget that could be tapped into to open them in the app. I don’t see much usefulness in having the times there if they’re outdated unfortunately.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2024-11-12*

One suggestion— the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets could probably be redesigned to show more information at once

### 5/5 — Best app but…

*2024-10-21, version 2.1.1*

This app is great! Super efficient, fast, reliable and i depend on it daily love this app. However I wish I could pin more stations. Sometimes its helpful when some trains aren’t running right, and I need to check transfer spots beforehand.

### 5/5 — Very Useful and Simple

*2024-09-24, version 2.1*

Just like the title says this app is very useful and simple to use. I pull it up more than the MTA app to get information about when the train I’m expecting is going to arrive. I love this app.

I recommend the developer to create the same experience for MTA buses as well since it’s a pain using the MTA compared to this one.

### 5/5 — Reliable, Efficient

*2024-07-22, version 2.0*

An indispensable tool. The only review I’ve ever written.

### 5/5 — Great App, Just Wish It Had Bus Info

*2024-07-09, version 2.0*

The app is exactly what I’ve been looking for for years! But with the G train being closed for the next couple months, I only wish it included bus times. Since the buses tend to be a lot more irregular, an app offering that info would be invaluable.

### 5/5 — Simple and good

*2024-06-22, version 1.4.3*

It would be nice to be able to search for stations by name (or on a map) when planning trips that involve transfers, but that would add a lot of complexity and I appreciate the simplicity of the concept. Well done!

### 5/5 — Amazingly Useful. One change would make it perfect

*2024-05-18, version 1.4.3*

The app identifies the closest subway stations and tells you the next arrivals for trains in each direction. Genius! You can also add it as a Home Screen Widget and either show the arrivals for the nearest station or a pinned station. The Locked Screen Widget shows the arrivals for the nearest station.

My only wish would be to be able to pin a few stations and then have the Locked Screen Widget show the nearest station out of those pre-selected options. For example, there are 5 subway stations near my home, but the station I use to commute is not the nearest one. The Widget does show me my commuting station once I walk in that direction. But it would be nice to have a way to tell the App to ignore the other stations and show me the one I need when I am home. And the one I use to get back when I am near work, etc.

### 5/5 — One of my favorite apps

*2024-04-25, version 1.4.3*

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just wanted to say how much I love this app. The design is simple and it loads incredibly fast. I recommend it to everyone I know in NYC.

### 5/5 — Shows nearby trains, sparks joy

*2024-04-21, version 1.4.3*

Wonderful little app for an everyday need, much faster to use than generic travel apps, clean display of information, and with live updates as a flourish. Great work.

### 5/5 — Love the app, suggestion for widgets

*2024-04-04, version 1.4.2*

Hi, I was looking for a transit app that supported pinned station departure times in widgets, found this and love it.

I’d also love the option to choose downtown or uptown arrival times, as I rarely use the downtown option at my local station, and since it serves two lines, the widget information can get too busy to be able to read quickly. Thanks!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Broken App As of Oct 2025

*2025-10-04, version 2.4.7*

I was using this app to get around the metro DC area but it’s no longer working. The screen is stuck on loading. I guess the developers are no longer updating or supporting.

### 1/5 — This has stopped working

*2025-05-03, version 2.4*

App loads nothing. Seems to be completely broken.

### 1/5 — App stopped working recently

*2025-05-01, version 2.4*

It was great but doesn't load anymore

### 2/5 — WMATA

*2025-09-23, version 2.4.6*

I love the widget and for that reason was hoping it could replace Metro Hero for WMATA lines here in DC. Today at least, it isn’t as accurate as Metro Hero. It’s roughly two minutes faster than the actual train time.

### 2/5 — Not working anymore

*2025-05-03, version 2.4*

Love this app but it seems like it’s not working anymore. Stuck loading and doesn’t show anything.

### 3/5 — Stopped working

*2025-05-01, version 2.4*

It won’t load anymore. Please fix !

### 3/5 — Stuck on loading… screen

*2025-05-01, version 2.4*

Was working great but widgets and app stopped loading at some point. I am on iOS 18.4.1

### 3/5 — App not loading

*2025-04-30, version 2.4*

I enjoyed this app since the day I downloaded. However, since yesterday the app says “loading” and doesn’t go any where. Can someone help please?

### 3/5 — Essential for NYC commuters

*2024-03-27, version 1.4.2*

Here does a good job of showing next train departures from the closest stations to you.

The only problem is the app sometimes has trouble updating your location, so it thinks you’re there instead of… here.

### 4/5 — Great, but needs one tweak

*2023-10-28, version 1.3*

Awesomely simple and efficient, but the location doesn’t seem to update as frequently as other apps. The initial reading is good, but if you open the app at a mid point station or even above ground a few mins later it often doesn’t seem to refresh.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Genius

*2025-12-24, version 2.4.9*

One of the most useful transit apps out there.

### 5/5 — Perfect for my use case

*2025-12-10, version 2.4.9*

I needed an app to show subway times, location based that didn’t require refresh, dynamically updating. Thank goodness for this app!

### 5/5 — love it!

*2025-06-15, version 2.4.2*

thank you for the functional and free app! I would love if the PATH system was also implemented.

### 5/5 — Widgets are just what I was looking for

*2025-05-03, version 2.4*

I now have a screen on my phone that shows me everything I need when I wake up for work. And only on the days that I need to wake up for work thanks to the focus modes.

EDIT: for some reason, This app isnt working at the moment

### 5/5 — I use it every day

*2025-05-01, version 2.4*

Just what the title says. Indispensable app!

### 5/5 — One of my core, first-page apps

*2025-04-11, version 2.4*

Please never change this lil beauty! It’s perfection. Exactly as configurable as it needs to be, and has been 100% accurate for me (never an issue with app’s info being diff than actual info).

### 5/5 — Every day

*2025-03-20, version 2.3*

I use this app every single day to get to work on the DC metro! The interface on my Apple Watch is so nice, and it’s the only app that has an interface this simple. Thanks for making this!

### 5/5 — Best NYC arrival time app

*2025-02-25*

Have tried several nyc timetable apps but I’ve stuck with this one for a couple years now. Reliable, often has next train times before they even show up on the station screens. The widget on the lock screen is a huge plus and lets me know if I need to run to catch a train.

### 5/5 — Simple and useful

*2024-12-14, version 2.2.1*

Great app! Allows me to pick up the pace and catch trains I would otherwise miss. Really like the widgets. Thank you to the developer of this app

### 5/5 — Love it

*2024-11-19, version 2.2.1*

After realizing the widgets can be out of date (and learning that it’s apple’s fault, not the developer’s) my suggestion would perhaps be to just show different stations on the widget that could be tapped into to open them in the app. I don’t see much usefulness in having the times there if they’re outdated unfortunately. Also would be nice if pinned stations were more likely to show up on the Lock Screen
