The interface is terrible, it doesn’t remember where you were, it doesn’t remember which episode you last watched, and it has no real fast forward function. I was really excited about finding a gay movie app, but this one is absolutely awful. I wish I could get my money back for my two year subscription. The swipe is in the opposite direction from the rest of the operating system. I am unable to turn off captions for some reason. Were I to do it again, I’d have subscribed through Amazon to get a more workable UI ### 2/5 — Improve! *2024-02-19* Exceptionally annoying app, especially on my Samsung TV. I’ve gotten an error message that I’m exceeding the two-device streaming limit, but I only have the app on my iPad and the TV, and I don’t use them at the same time, so what??? Then if you use the back button, it asks you if you want to exit and when you choose yes, it logs you out of the app and you have to log back in, which is really irritating. If you’re watching a series and stop to watch something else, when you are ready to resume watching, it defaults to the beginning of the series instead of where you left off. Seriously, I’m sorry I paid for an annual subscription, because I probably would have dropped it already due to how user-UNFRIENDLY it is. C’mon, girls, you can do better! ### 3/5 — Addressing some concerns *2023-12-27* I went out on a limb to try something new. At first I was intrigued and a kind of excited when I found out about this streaming service. It would be nice if all of the episodes of the series was available or give notice when the next upcoming episodes will be available. I started a series that has six episodes available, I’m thinking ok this might be a good watch. Approximately three minutes into the first episode it’s ends. Each episode are about twenty minutes or more. I tried to restart them but once it ends the app would go directly to the next episode. ### 3/5 — Bring back 10 second fwd and rewind! *2023-06-29, version 2.3* The latest update removed the 10 second fast forward and rewind feature. This is a must have for streaming services. Please bring it back ASAP. ### 3/5 — Buggy with subscription plan *2020-12-23* This time closed captioning finally more feature font size. Only things I concern with subscription not work when Apple ID sign in. I try to subscription monthly and pop up error with existing user ID after I cancel and wait serval days. Already process this user is on subscription list on Apple App Store. I sign out this app and restore purchase without problem then I try Sign In with Apple ID said existing other same Apple ID user after subscription. It would say “unable to fetch data.” And it’s been like that for most of the time I’ve had it so I haven’t been able to watch anything. I emailed the support address and sent a screenshot of what it was doing and they have yet to respond. I will not be renewing the subscription since it is not letting me watch anything. ### 3/5 — Help! *2019-11-02, version 1.1* So I just downloaded this app, I really liked a clip of a show that’s on here. Buttt after reading all of these reviews I’m nervous to just put my debit info on here since I already have Netflix, prime, and Hulu. Paying another 7/9 dollars a month I need to know that all of these bugs were fixed. I don’t want to subscribe and not like it and then unsubscribe and continue to get billed. So if anyone can comment and let me know I’d really appreciate it. I’m giving this 3 stars because I can’t post this review without selecting a star. No problem there. This app itself, however, is horrendous. Every single time I open the app and try to watch something a pop up appears and asks me “love this app?” And every time I click NO it then asks if I want to talk to customer service. Again, my answer is no. What I want is to watch the content I paid for. As if that wasn’t annoying enough, the app also CONSTANTLY logs you out. Every time I open it, regardless of which device I’m using, and after I answer that annoying aforementioned prompt, I then have to log in all over again before I can watch anything. It’s ridiculous. It’s annoying. Y’all aren’t the only LGBT streaming service in the game. Maybe I’ll give OUT or Dekkoo my money instead. ### 1/5 — A horrible app *2024-01-31, version 2.5* The content is horrible, mostly foreign language 15 minute short stories. No telephone support. Hideous customer service. I tried to cancel 6 months into the subscription, and I have pages and pages of “we’ll get back to you” emails. Still fighting with my credit card company 3 months after they said they resolved it. I canceled because the programming was marginal at best. Run away from these scammers. ### 1/5 — Horrible App, Terrible Customer Service *2022-03-23* The Here TV app has never worked properly on Apple TV for me. Nine times out of 10, the tiles in the app are blank (no pictures associated with them or descriptions) and sometimes not clickable. So when the app opens, you see faceless boxes that won’t open. I have to reboot my Apple TV for the content to come back, but that doesn’t always work. I tried cancelling my annual subscription having asked for a refund, but it’s been 3 weeks with no resolution in sight. I’ve followed up 3 times with no word from the initial representative who forwarded my email to the billing group. This really saddens me because while there is value in the content, it’s now overshadowed by this negative experience. So, I’ve paid for an app that works maybe 65% of the time. So, I don’t even bother opening it any longer. For an app called “HERE” TV, they’ve been anything but. I’m really not a hater, and I rarely write reviews. But, I had to say something! If you’re considering to purchase this app, be forewarned! In fairness, the app does work in a browser environment. I’ve had no issues watching content on my iPad via Safari. But, I purchased the app to watch on my TV. Is that too much to expect from an app called Here TV? ### 1/5 — No FF or Rewind *2022-03-22, version 1.7* Can’t fast forward or rewind. Enough said. Definitely not a recommendation to get here tv if you expect any support ### 1/5 — A Big Disappointment *2020-03-12, version 1.2* Was very good at one stage, didn’t have Global restrictions for awhile after the app redesign, now back. Sick of getting emails about new shows/movies that only shows Error 404 each time you hit the link. So not much new to watch. A few docos. Am in Australia and for the expensive price of the subscription (we always seem to get the raw prawn down under) will not be renewing this year.
