The narrator is easily understood and is pleasant to listen to. Spent several hours driving on the battlefield with this easy to use app. Listen to the story of the battle and get gps directions to each tour stop in this amazing National Park. Difficult to hear and most importantly the get directions button does not work!! So kind of get lost at the beginning. I will be requesting a refund ### 1/5 — Not sure this is still supported *2025-11-08, version 1.20* The get direction but does nothing making it difficult to easily get to the next spot. I went with Action tours because there are a lot more feature that work for $14.99 ### 1/5 — Audio ends early and skips *2024-07-05* The audio clips end early and skip most of the track for each auto tour stop. At first it appears to work and then the issue starts as soon as you get to auto tour stop 1. The issue persists on the rest of the tracks. It was a waste of money and didn’t work. We ended up having to pay for another app that worked. The app developer has not updated on over three years, so assume these bugs will not be fixed. The large majority of the glowing reviews are from, you guessed it, three to four years ago. ### 1/5 — Annoying and unuseful *2023-03-27, version 1.19* The overly melodramatic narrative was annoying and useless while driving. I wanted an app that would describe where I was and what happened there. IF this app intended to do this, it was borderline useless. If it wasn’t then it is false advertising. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work *2021-02-18, version 1.13* Opens to a map with only an option to purchase something else. ### 1/5 — A monumental disappointment. *2020-08-15* From the moment I downloaded the app, it proved worthless. The only audio file available is the introduction. After that...nothing. No narration available for any of the stops. The map and direction functions performed well, which is basically just a way if saying I paid $10 for Google Maps (which I already had). A complete waste of money. **Developer response:** UPDATE: Fixed issue with improved, updated version of app (9/23/20). The app will now download even on very slow or intermittent internet connection that can occur on remote parts of battlefield or beyond. -- Monumental in this way is not our goal and wish you had a better experience. Sounds like the iphone may have disconnected momentarily from the network whey you downloaded the tour. The tour would then need to be reinstalled. We had bought the guide and a code at the Visitors Center. I downloaded the app and could not find a place to enter the code. So spent $35 for that and then another $9.99 because the code couldn’t get entered. ### 2/5 — Content good , app not so much *2020-07-24, version 1.9* Initially the app was fine. About 6 stops in there was no audio content. I know it updated when I first opened but that must have failed. No way to get it to update again. Uninstall and re-installed 3-4 times. WiFi and cellular. Would not download more than half way. Really frustrating as we were doing the auto tour today. Wish developers would refund as this is a design and code issue. I had plenty of bandwidth. ### 2/5 — App Didn’t Work 75% of the Time *2020-06-13* Very rarely loaded and stuck on the HereStory screen. Even in areas of full service and throughout the battlefield... just stuck. Even uninstalled / reinstalled several times - worked once this way for a single stop. Paid 10$ for an app that we didn’t really get to use.
