But I don’t love the fact that you can’t comment anonymously on HASO posts. For instance, I could post anonymously, but not respond anonymously to those who commented. Also… Could you push out an update that allows you to change your profile name (not the username)? ### 2/5 — The block and report option *2025-04-25, version 1.16.08* Hey, I’m so sorry if this comes off as hating on the app because the app is genuinely super wonderful and it’s amazing to see the female community it’s built up. But the problem I’m having is the block button genuinely isn’t working for me.? A woman was commenting on peoples posts super harshly and making fun of some of the other women/girls who were asking for help or suffering from mental illness and asking for tips- and when I commented back asking her not to be hateful in a supportive community she started private messaging me and mocking my own posts for help and saying some incredibly hateful stuff and no matter how many times I report it or it says I’ve blocked her it keeps letting her message me and look through my post history and I’d really appreciate something more thorough, or a better way to report hate because I feel unsafe posting when someone is direct quoting my problems or traumatic feelings back at me to make fun of me for it. So I might suggest identity verification or robot verification. There was a guy on the app who texted about 24 girls and asked a few of them unspeakable things. I got a text from him and blocked him but I know others weren’t as lucky. Please be careful no matter what!! ### 4/5 — great app, just new and needs a few updates *2024-12-25, version 1.16.07* i got this app after seeing some tiktok promo for it and it looked great! it’s a super unique social media app, lots of sections to interact with, and so far it’s been super pleasant interacting with people. something to consider is that it seems to be a pretty new app so it has some bugs, but anything buggy i’ve seen in the reviews or on the app has been minimal and not that big a deal to wait for some updates to come out. the only thing that’s annoyed me is i can’t see what i’m typing in my profile bio as i’m typing it. all in all, it’s a very detailed and well thought out app and i’m excited to see what else they come out with! ### 3/5 — Help! *2024-11-05, version 1.16.07* How do I connect you directly about something I think people could benefit from your page? I go through the login stuff, I make my profile but then it says I didn’t verify my email. I went back to check and they didn’t send any emails to me, even thought I put it in multiple times. I can’t tell if it’s the app or maybe my email, I did try with more than one tho. ### 4/5 — love but have recommendations *2024-10-17, version 1.16.07* it’s a beautiful app, and a beautiful idea. i’d love to see more inclusion though- all the graphics + photos are white women😬 i think it’s important that this app doesn’t become a “white feminist” focused place and brown and black girlies can find their place and feel comfortable using it. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2024-10-07, version 1.16.07* I see so much potential in this app but the gatekeeping of everything is insane. The interface is horrific at best and just feels like scammy in a way. The reason other socials have been successful is first off they don’t charge insane amounts for just being on the app. You can pay for special features but that’s long after the app is developed and has a big enough audience to do so. I feel like this should be a free app with ads just like any other starting social media platform. Also searching is horrible and it’s just impossible to find things to do that don’t cost money. Told her to leave them alone and received multiple DMs from her ranging from calling me ugly to telling me to kms to mocking me over experiences other users and I discussed. Tried to report her multiple times for this behavior and it did not work. She is on this app telling teenage girls they’re ugly, that getting harassed by adult men is their fault, throwing around the R slur and telling people to kill themselves. People like this are why these apps aren’t safe and struggle to exist and I am sorely disappointed by the apps lack of action to restricting this behavior. ### 1/5 — Unmonitored Content *2025-04-04, version 1.16.08* I got this app thinking it would be a lovely safe space. Sadly, I was bombarded by inappropriate messages. Essentially, I was sexually harassed (for the first time ever) on this app. And I’ve even seen men use the app. This is putting minors at risk for sexual exploitation by these creeps. And the admin couldn’t care less. Do better! So yeah, don’t get this app unless sexual harassment is what you’re looking for. ### 1/5 — Terrible experience *2024-11-24, version 1.16.07* Couldn’t even get past creating an account. App tells you an email has been sent to verify your email. Nothing in my inbox. Tried signing up again only to be told my email is already in use. Tried logging in w/that same email and password and it says my password is wrong. Used reset password link and it says an email was sent. But no email in my inbox.
