Great concept, poor execution. ### 2/5 — No drivers; cancelled ride *2025-08-22* I love this concept and was excited to see the HERide signs at the ATL airport. I did some research and read the reviews but decided to still take my chances and schedule a ride. Like many other people here, my ride was canceled at the very last minute (literally, right when I should have been picked up). You don’t get notifications either; I couldn’t even use their “Help Center” feature (kept getting an error message). This company is getting great press but sadly, the app doesn’t work. ### 3/5 — Similar issue as other reviews *2025-02-28* Love the idea of this app — I think it’s so needed in this era. However, it’d be helpful to have more communication (push notifications or even just updates on status of ride). I booked a ride three hours in advance just for it to cancel at the exact time of pick-up. I understand there may be a shortage of drivers, but I’m giving three stars because of the lack of communication. My money was DEBITED IMMEDIATELY. The trip showed on the map. Driver NEVER SHOWED OR CALLED. Never received a call of issues with the driver. And there’s no way to contact HERide when there’s a problem. Had to call another ride share and I was late for my event. AND NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND. This is the 3rd attempt to use and never will use again. HERide has SCAMMED ME. of over $50. I referred HERide to several friends and they all had the same problem.. This company is obviously not in business and should not be advertising as if it is. I tried to use the app June 18? 2024 and was left stranded at the airport for an hour thinking someone would be assigned. Not only was no one assigned, no one responded to my out reach. Thankfully Uber was there to save the day. @Apple store, please remove this company from the APP store as it is not in business or is false advertising as a business. ### 1/5 — Great concept, needs work. *2024-06-21* I really want to support this app, but it never works out. I tried to book a ride a few months ago, but it would’ve taken over 30 minutes for a driver to arrive. I cancelled and the driver advised me to pre book in the future. Last night, I pre booked my ride 1.5 hours before I needed to leave. I checked the status about 15 minutes before leaving out, and it was still unassigned. 2 minutes before—unassigned. I cancelled it and tried to book a live trip, but there weren’t any drivers in the area. I live in the heart of the city and it was a Thursday, so that was kind of disappointing. I know that you all are still growing and smoothing out the logistics, so I can give grace and keep you in mind for the future, but the truth is that I just haven’t been able to utilize the service as advertised. **Developer response:** Hi Ashydashy, We truly appreciate your support and your patience as we continue to grow. It is SO WORTH THE QUIRKS! ### 2/5 — Canceled pre-booked ride *2024-05-23* I really wanted to give this app a try because of what it stands for, women’s safety. However, I was notified that my ride was canceled and refunded at the EXACT TIME my ride was supposed to arrive. Their reason was there’s no drivers in my area……but I PRE-BOOKED meaning I booked my ride in advance so I really don’t understand. So I had to scramble to find an Uber that was more expensive AND I WAS LATE FOR WORK! I entered all information and I didn’t log on to start accepting rides and out of nowhere I was getting messages saying there were rides to pick up? I’m like I haven’t even log on. It happened twice. Then they just deactivated my account. And asked me to contact support which the email address for that is not valid. I really like the concept. I prebooked the ride for 2:45 and the driver was right on time. Aundrea was very sweet and helped with luggage. I appreciate her for making this experience such a no hassle one. I flew to ATL for a short trip to see family and I scheduled a ride through heride. My driver was on time, communicated so well as I was getting through the airport to exit and made me very comfortable. She was so kind and I was stressed out so I appreciated it so much. We talked the whole way (an hr ride) and it was a great experience. I do not feel comfortable with other rideshare apps after some weird experiences and I was so worried what I was going to do but I found this app and I’m so thankful!
