No ability to delete. So they self ruined the app for the next week and a half. Worst of all, HER was advertised on OkCupid, which I saw, that ad brought a ton of straight guys to this little lesbian bar, if you will. Now it’s overrun with straight guys harassing us. In the last week or so, way more straight guys liked me than women, extremely unusual. Or used to be! They trashed our space. It was such a nice experience. But Match Group is bigoted af anyway. They ruined dating. NEVER GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. I have to go out and back in often. My biggest issue is the abundance of fake profiles. If I talk to 10 connections, 8 of them are fake people trying to get your off app to chat for a scam. Yes, they are fake and soon after you refuse they block you. HER needs to verify people better that they are real. An email just isn’t enough. You can’t see more than five people who “like” you at a time, and almost every time I ever did get to view them, four out of the five people were always bots or scams. Do Better *2026-08-17, version 6.29.2* HER claims to be an inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community, but their automated moderation filters tell a completely different story. As a Black trans lesbian, my account was immediately slapped with a "temporary hold" for simply uploading a completely standard, non-nude fashion photo where I was fully clothed on top.Your automated image-scanning AI is fundamentally broken and biased. It completely misinterprets body shapes and skin tones, flagging innocent community posts as "funky business" while letting actual bad actors slip through. The automated email response from support is a generic brush-off that refuses to take immediate accountability.Stop using cheap, lazy AI filters that actively silence and push out the exact intersectional creators you use for your marketing. Have a human look at my ticket and reinstate my account immediately. ### 1/5 — Protect Sapphic Spaces *2026-08-16, version 6.29.2* There are a RIDICULOUS amount of cis men cosplaying as “Queer/Questioning/Bicurious”. This is a dating about called HER for Lesbians it’s in the pissing name. I appreciate that there’s features put in place such as reporting and blocking but God there’s an alarming amount of them to begin with. Please enforce stricter guidelines on this app or you’re going to lose a LOT of users. I don’t feel safe on this app at all, more needs to be done to prevent this cis men from entering queer WOMENS spaces. ### 1/5 — Men are ruining everything… as always *2026-08-15* Too many men, too many profiles with no face pictures, and far too many fake accounts. On top of that, the option to filter and show only verified accounts is locked behind a paid feature. That would be somewhat understandable if the app didn’t have more men and fake profiles than actual women. As it stands, though, it completely defeats the purpose of the app and makes the whole experience frustrating and practically unusable. ### 1/5 — absolutely appalling *2026-08-15, version 6.29.2* i had to delete my account within a few days, the app is absolutely shocking and completely locked behind paid features; it’s next to unusable if you do get matches because match or not, you have to wait until the next day to access more profiles. i completely understand the need to have financial backing and that might not come from other sources but the cheapest payment being £15 for a week is ridiculous. had to give one star instead of none. ### 3/5 — Bait and switch *2026-08-15, version 6.29.2* Seriously I used to like this app, but they have made it practically mandatory to have premium to get anything out of it. I am easing into things and got gold so I could just explore and see how I fit with it, but every connection, seeing who connects, is hidden behind an even higher paywall. If that’s the case then just have premium since that seems to be the only level that allowed for anything. I feel a little bit like they were bait and switching with what was possible to accomplish with the gold. It would be more transparent and better for users if they just skipped the games. Why am i supposed to pay to see who has swiped on me. No i don’t want to pay on who has viewed my profile. When I did look and see if there was anything I could do to fix this, it didnt let me unless I paid. Why would I need to pay to only get women? That’s so weird and excluding to lesbians. I tried to make an acount as an 18 year old woman I have several health conditions that make my face seem a lot younger then 18 I was prepared to take a photo of my I’d to prove I was 18, which other apps do which I think is quite reasonably and important, but instead it wanted me to take a photo of my face and then let ai analyse it to work out if I was 18. which tbh I think is discriminative and exclusionary as a lot of people look younger then they actually are due to many reasons so then it blocked me from going on the app because some ai decided I wasn’t 18.
