The respawn rate was much better than the previous title, so you didn’t get "stuck" but could keep travelling around, harvesting and hunting to raise funds. I also liked being able to transact with shops from the map screen rather than having to travel back and forth to the fletcher, fisherman, inn etc all the time. It was much more convenient. You just have to have the skills and resources to win. So you have to grind out the skills and resources. That being said, if you enjoy watching your stats skills go up and to the right… this is the game for you. There is enough plot / progression to wake you up from grinding occasionally. The map makes moving around much more convenient (once I realized I could use it that way :) ). No strategy or tactics, this is just pound on it until it submits.
