The card art can be a little rough sometimes as well, and it wouldn’t surprise me if a large amount of it was AI-generated, which is pretty unethical. The enemy AI can be pretty daft at times as well, prioritizing fire gems over stronger market cards. Finally, the way that microtransactions have been implemented is a bit much - permanent class/race unlocks don’t need to use the silly gem system, just put a dang price tag on it! Gameplay is sound and intuitive until you play at more advanced levels where good players focus on acquiring the cards that make you discard your cards. Then most turns involving playing only 1-3 cards instead of 5 and the fun is zapped immediately. There are just too many cards and abilities causing you to discard cards. Trash players. ### 4/5 — Excellent ! *2024-05-20* Points positifs: J’étais déjà habitué des versions physiques du jeu. Mais ici les ambiances, les voix et les animations apportent réellement un plus. C’est immersif et les musiques ne sont pas ennuyeuses. Pour les nouveaux joueur•euse: bien qu’en anglais le tutorial est facile à comprendre et très vite le jeu vous semblera addictif. La version PvP est intéressante bien que le matchmaking soit souvent mal calibré. Je n’ai cependant pas compris encore si être 1er dans le ranking permettrai de gagner des backgrounds ou autre. La campagne est une bonne idée aussi. Cette version numérique permet finalement de tester des stratégies rapidement, et de se familiariser plus rapidement avec certaines catégories de héros que je n’avais jamais joué. Points négatifs: le prix évidemment. Les héros stagnent rapidement au niveau 12. Puis il vous faudra débourser bien plus pour débloquer de nouvelles cartes, catégories de personnages et pouvoir. Idées: 1) Inclure un compteur de points pour jouer à la version physique du jeu en profitant de la bande son et de l’esthétique de l’app. 2) Inclure un bonus pour les détenteurs des versions physiques. Online I only prefer Fighter. I unlocked majority of the other classes. Fighter suits me. However.. fighter is dead in the water whether you choose standard online or low level match where they downgrade you. (You choose this because their horrendous standard system pairs you (a 3 bronze level) against gold, platinum, silver 3 players. You will never get a chance to advance into silver and above because they keep you in bronze (tricking you into buying the gems, to advance) even though you already supported and bought all the expansions (me) There is no way to advance with fighter. Also, the players at high levels have been here for the longest I keep running into them. Highly advise - do not pay for this this game, stay on the free.. unless that what you want to play: thieves, wizard or ranger. I’m deleting and moving on. —————————- 2/9/25 (update) Unfair game (Beware) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ review because of HUGE unfairness in the game: ONLINE MATCHES PURPOSELY STIFLE YOUR GROWTH: On the online matches.. I maxed out at bronze fighter character (level 16). In order to further rank up… and unlock new cards, I need to make it into silver.. the problem, right when I am about to leave bronze (bronze 3) they pair me with gold, platinum and silver players who have way more abilities (buttons around your characters face) THE FIGHTER CLASS IS CRIPPLED: Extremely unfair battles.. as a fighter vs. thief or wizard, it is stupidly unfair. I chat gpt to do further research, and yea it’s known that it’s very unfair uphill battle. You don’t get draw potential like thief and wizard and *those colossal hits* that you can do as a warrior don’t come often.. so your left dealing with wizards & thieves, throwing card draw combos to land enough money that buys the best cards in the market by turn 3. Very unfair. If this is indeed the case, just remove the fighter class altogether from the game. If not.. they need to severely buff the fighter class or nerf the wizard and thief I purchased all the expansions, but don’t think I will support down the road for other the level of unfairness. This game has HUGE potential to blow up, but I guess the devs will only focus on star realms.. and not put proper balance into the weak characters or OP characters and because of these things… leads to the other.. (most likely bc it’s just thieves, wizards & ranger fest online) no variation and because of that… SOMETIMES NO ONE IS ONLINE: For newcomers like myself.. you may think, the real-time matches are not working, because no one is showing up. Most likely because it’s highly favored to the 3 classes I mentioned above - no variation, gets dull real quick and of course very unfair. There are times when I get on and I’m having back to back matches. However, there are more slow days. UPDATE ISSUES: Devs.. regarding your updates… Why must I continuously uninstall, then reinstall the app - so that it can work with the newest update? This has been my experience.
