## What is Hero Safety?

Our app is designed to enhance user safety by automating emergency alerts. User can set a timer within the app, and if they do not check in after the designated time has expired, the app automatically notifies a list of pre-selected emergency contacts. The alert includes specific information that the user has chosen to share, ensuring that the contacts are well-informed and can take appropriate action. 

Even if you are out of cell range or your phone is dead the timer will still alert your heroes to check in on you
