### 3/5 — Long delicious GRIND

*2026-06-09*

This game is fun for all ages. However, the pay to win model is in full effect here. You cannot buy advanced hero’s. All you can do is buy increased chances to win them. (Gambling). If you play for free, your chances will continue to be miserable. I’m level 49 and I have 3 legendary level hero’s. Still fun, but don’t expect to compete with those loose credit card people. You will not even be playing the same game.

### 3/5 — Fun Game but…

*2026-05-07, version 4.2.3*

5-Star Gameplay! Incredibly fun if you like tactical rpgs...

… but it’s got everything frustrating about today’s gaming industry: subscription options, pay-to-play, pay-to-win, loot boxes, micro transactions, xp throttling, pop-up ads, watch ads for rewards, and variable pricing.

Developers need to get paid, but I wish I could pay$12/month or $60 flat for unlimited access, What they do to make a profit is a bit extreme.

### 2/5 — Not syncing

*2026-05-05*

I have two iPads, same Apple Id, both have the game connected, but they are two separate profiles, I am forced to start fresh on the new one.

### 3/5 — The app is fun but can be frustrating

*2026-04-14, version 4.1.9*

The Magic Island battles are far too difficult. I had to get five heroes with five stars before I could beat a single level, and I still can’t get past the first boss. Level one should be a gimme.

### 3/5 — Pack prices are outrageous

*2026-03-26, version 4.1.5*

I do enjoy the game. It’s fun. But my god are the pack prices expensive. Most games do 1.99, 4.99 etc options but your guys are settled at 20,40,100,200. That is pure scam. I get you don’t have to buy it but it’s disingenuous to your customer base.

### 4/5 — Love it but one small issue

*2026-03-26*

For some context, I got this game as an offer for another game. However, I found this game to be very entertaining, and have been playing it a lot even after the offer in the original game ended. If you’re thinking about getting this game, get it! Definitely worth it.

While it does not affect the gameplay whatsoever, the biggest issue in this game is the AI assets used in the graphics. There’s a surprising amount of it in this game, and while it is still fun, knowing some parts are AI-generated makes it a little less enjoyable.

### 4/5 — F2p

*2026-03-23*

Fun

### 4/5 — Um bom jogo mas pagar ajuda muito

*2026-03-22*

**Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback. We’re glad you see the good in the game. Heroes & Dragons has no paywalls, and many strong players progress without spending, though it can take time. If a specific pack felt too expensive, which one was it? Please let us know so we can review it.

### 3/5 — Decent but a cash grab

*2026-03-20, version 4.1.2*

I really enjoyed this game at first but if you do pay to play everything is extremely over priced. Way too many heroes with little opportunity to obtain the ones you really want. Gatcha has low results for legendary.

### 3/5 — Good Game, Terrible Rates

*2026-03-14, version 4.1.0*

I found this game through a cash making app and I was pleasantly surprised by the gameplay. The battles are quick for a tactics type game so I didn’t feel the sense of burnout that I usually feel from eventually playing tactics games. The designs of heroes are amusing. The problem with this game for me was that it was difficult compared to other games to earn summoning currency. And when I summoned, I usually got low tier heroes. I think my first 3 to 4 epics were really good then I hit a stretch of about 15-20 epics that were bottom tier epics. I hit pity for the legendary summon which was 150 normal pulls. And it was bottom tier as well. Since you are required to level up multiple heroes for content, leveling up bottom tier heroes feels like a huge waste because it takes a lot of time and resources to level one up. I quit out of frustration. It doesn’t feel rewarding at all to get bottom tier heroes since the currency is hard to earn. Quests don’t net much and the other way to earn is through tournaments and events. It’s hard to place high in tournaments because of the spenders. You can play it as a F2P or casual spender but you’ll need some patience. I spent about $45 USD for reference. I got up to about 150-160 in the progress quests, and I had just started the nightmare campaign when I quit.

### 5/5 — Great fun good characters

*2026-02-28, version 4.0.7*

Easy to play. Great units all overall

### 3/5 — Alright

*2026-02-27, version 4.0.7*

I like the game well enough. I wish we could build our own main character to play & I wish being able to get a different dragon was easier but they lock that behind a paywall. Other than that the game is pretty fun.

### 3/5 — Fun but could be better

*2026-02-27, version 4.0.6*

The game is really enjoyable and plenty to do even as free player. That said, if you do want to pay, items are insanely over priced based on the stupid low percentage chance of getting a desirable hero or dragon. I would give 5+ stars if you could pay to get value. Too bad.

### 5/5 — Сообщество по игре в ВК

*2026-02-19*

Искал сообщества по игре. В итоге пришлось создать свое. Добавляйтесь. Там много полезного.

**Developer response:** Thanks for supporting the community. It’s great to see players creating spaces to share tips and strategies. We appreciate the passion and hope your group helps more players enjoy Heroes & Dragons even more.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Misleading ads for terrible barely-a-game trash

*2026-04-17, version 4.1.9*

After downloading and trying this game, I gave it a 2-star review and deleted it. The devs told me that if I played a bit longer, I’d see that the “survival mini game for action lovers” is just an intro, and the core of the game is a “deep turn based RPG with complete class system, skills, artifacts and everything you’d expect (just as advertised)”. So, I decided to give it another try.

While downloading, I skimmed some other reviews, and… apparently the actual game is a PvP gacha hero collector game, and the whole “turn based RPG” thing is a minor PvE sideline that you just auto-play? Wow. But anyway, I got up to, I think, fight 7 of stage 1-3, and hadn’t seen any of that yet, so that’s just hearsay. What about the part I actually got to play? Just remember that I am still apparently in an incredibly long tutorial intro, so who knows how representative any of this is…

It looks like they took three different “teach yourself to be a game dev” Unity nanogame samples, reskinned and renamed everything to make it “unique”, and sutured them together.

And the reskinning is a pretty slapdash job. For example, the fire-ice-earth-neutral elements are renamed to force-wisdom-faith-valor traits, but with the same colors and icon shapes, and the same RPS mechanical effect, and they’re even called “element” instead of “trait” outside the help screen.

The “RPG” consists of walking a linear path (and picking up free gold and gems on the way or not picking them up) to get one line of story or a battle and repeat.

Every odd battle (not just the first one) is that “survival mini game for the action lovers”. It’s even worse than I thought—because there is no rogue-lite progression, they just had to make the battles so easy you’d have a hard time losing.

The even battles are that “deep turn based” gameplay that they advertise. Well, they are turn based. And they do in fact have the class system, etc. that really are exactly what you would expect (being from a generic sample game and all). But that’s all in service of a series of (up to) 5x5 fights on tiny maps, each one a little different but all ridiculously trivial. This is the Banner Saga or Bravelands, it’s a sample of the mechanics of a (generic ripoff of a) game like that.

Maybe I could make a fun puzzle out of trying to find a way to lose without just skipping every turn? I threw my archer in front of my shield guy instead of behind him—and I still won. I wished I already had that auto-play that other reviews mention. And then I remembered that the thing I want to auto-play past is the thing they’re advertising as the actual game, so what I actually want is to just not play this game. And then I remembered that this is just the lure for an even worse non-game addiction-pump, so what I actually want is for trash like this to stop destroying mobile gaming (although it’s probably way too late for that).

Why did they ask me to give the game another chance? They can’t actually believe that they’ve made a “deep turn based RPG” that I would enjoy if I gave it a chance and then raise my review from 2 stars to 5, can they? Are they even hoping to rip people off for money in some way that I can’t see, or are they just doing this for the evulz? Isn’t there anything lower than 1 star that I can give them? These eternal mysteries will go unanswered, as I delete the game again.

### 1/5 — Nothing like the ads

*2026-04-11, version 4.1.8*

The ads show a turn-based tactics game. They’ve even got “Tactical RPG” in the name. And the (presumably faked) reviews are all about how it’s like old-school tactics games.

So, there’s an “RPG” that consists of walking a linear path and getting one line of story and then a battle.

And the battle is not a turn-based tactics battle, it’s a simplified Archero-style action fight, which looks an awful lot like someone took the Unity nanogame sample and replaced the graphic assets and changed nothing else at all.

Presumably there’s “roguelike” progression of your heroes between those battles, which I’m guessing is all about how much you’re willing to spend, but I’m not going to stick around to find out. A game which had to pretend to be a completely different game than what it is to trick me into installing it is almost certainly a pointless scam.

### 1/5 — Not working on iPhone 13 Pro Max

*2026-03-24*

Impossible to click on first campaign.

**Developer response:** Hey there, can you please send us a support email? Would love to sort it out for you! The support button appears in the loading screen during startup...

### 1/5 — Cash grab

*2026-03-06, version 4.0.9*

This game was fun for a while but after about 4 months of being hard stuck in every aspect of the game, maxing out multiple characters, spending millions of gold to rearrange gear sets to no avail… i think I’ll move on

### 1/5 — Lagg

*2026-02-18*

Too laggy after latest ipdate

**Developer response:** Heya! I'm sorry to hear about the game crashes. We've recently released a new update that should address the performance issues. In case the issue persists after updating, can you please let us know via profile-support so we can review the incident and fix it for you?

### 1/5 — Please crash this game!

*2026-02-15, version 4.0.2*

This is now the 3rd review I’ve done and each time they get deleted because I tell the truth! This game is broken and sucks. The summoning rate is an absolute lie! I’ve personally summoned over 1000 brews and HAVE NEVER PULLED A LEGENDARY besides the guaranteed… they say the counter for each hero is RESET WHEN YOU SUMMON IT… yet I have summoned the same epic hero 4 times in a row… the battle system is terrible when you auto, if you tell them something is wrong with the game they will basically tell you that you are an idiot without telling you… now they put in a build system that is just god awful. Trust when I say, don’t download this game and give it a bad review please!

### 1/5 — Construction is a HORRIBLE idea

*2026-02-11, version 4.0.0*

The game was fun and lightweight until today.
All you had to do was focus on building your heroes and completing missions.
Now they’ve gone and fell in line with every other ios game out there and added building construction to the game.
IT’S NOT FUN.
I want to play the game.
I don’t want to click to build, wait 20 hours, repeat.
Add more content that utilizes the heroes.

### 1/5 — Now they are deleting reviews

*2026-01-13, version 3.5.0*

I had a review up here with plenty of information on how this game is bad and they deleted it! That’s how shady this company and developers are!! Please tank this game with 1 star reviews!!!!!!

Game is never improved, they just add stuff to make more people come into the game but they never fix the problems… if you put in a ticket they won’t fix anything, they will just tell you “we will send it to the team” and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT! Shoot I put in a ticket 4 months ago and was told the agent “empathizes with me” meaning they play the game and see the same errors… I HAVE THE EMAIL!! Game is traaaaaaaaaash!

Here is a prime example of a broken mechanic in the game that is STILL IN THE GAME… if you kill a summoner, their minions still have a chance to beat you, but if your summoner dies it’s automatically a loss. Just another reason this game sucks! Oh and fyi that has been in the game for at least months with countless tickets and no fix… just fyi

Yet somehow it keeps getting deleted… why would Apple allow the company getting reviewed to delete its reviews you ask? Because they paid Apple to be able to do that just fyi… your ratings and reviews mean nothing

150+ energy ON THE HIGHEST DIFFICULTY OF THE DUNGEON… and I can’t get 1 single superior potion…. NOT 1… ON THE HIGHEST DIFFICULTY! Why? So they can force you to spend coins which are very scarce

### 1/5 — Gut aber unnötig

*2026-01-06*

**Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback. Heroes & Dragons doesn’t have paywalls, and many strong players progress without spending, but we know bad streaks can feel awful. Which pack were you referring to? Please contact us via profile-support or at support@banditos.zendesk.com so we can review your case and send some in-game help.

### 5/5 — Baked potatoes versus fried potatoes

*2026-08-02*

When it comes to choosing between two popular potato dishes—baked potatoes and fries—the decision can be a dizzying one. Both have their unique appeal, but what about their nutritional value? In recent years, the health-conscious public has started to scrutinize the impact of these beloved comfort foods on their diets. Are baked potatoes genuinely a healthier option than French fries? Let’s dive deep into the nutritional aspects, cooking methods, benefits, potential drawbacks, and most importantly, how they fit into a balanced diet.

With that in mind, this game is great!

### 5/5 — Such a good game

*2026-06-25*

Such a good game that is made to be enjoyed for a long time. There are so many different ways to spend your time in this game, and so many different things to focus on, you won’t get bored. I’m not a huge rpg player, and I struggle with understanding how to really utilize some of the artifacts to strengthen heroes, but they there is a wiki and discord to help rookies like myself. If you are looking for an ad free game that is a lot of fun, this is it.

### 5/5 — Honest rewiew

*2026-06-02*

I had an issue with a purchase in Heroes Dragon and was very impressed by the customer support.

I contacted the developers and received a reply within 48 hours. They quickly handled the situation and kept me updated throughout the process. About two days later, the issue was fully resolved.

They also gave me two generous in-game compensations. It’s rare to see such fast and professional support in a mobile game.

Thanks to the development team for their excellent service and commitment to player satisfaction. Despite the initial problem, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this game
