It’s not the case when using touch controls, but I hate touch controls. Please fix this. Changing the controller dead one doesn’t solve the issue ### 3/5 — Works for iPhone? Um.... *2017-09-27* Bought this for iphone7. Game is zoomed so far out that it makes it nearly impossible to distinguish your characters from your enemies from room clutter. I tried to zoom in, but haven't found a way to do so. I'm actually a little ticked off to lose $4 because though the app store says it "runs" on an iphone7, it's not "playable". Update:. Unplayable on iPad 2017. I can see everything at a decent size now. But walking around and interacting with enemies etc is in slow motion. I've heard the expression "dungeon crawl" and now understand what it means. Update:. A soft reset of my iPad and now the speed is quick and slick! Muuuuch better. Update:. Reset my iPhone to. And speed is much better. Still to small to be enjoyable. ### 4/5 — Great game, controls could use some work *2017-05-25* The game is outstanding. It would be one of the best dual sticks on ios if it was not for the controls. I play with a mfi controller and the only time if I have died was because the controls are jittery. My character will shake to the left or right which makes the game impossible in the later levels when there are many traps and you need precision. So I tried to play without my controller and for me it's unplayable, it becomes an entirely different game where you can only fire in 4 directions which makes it no longer a dual stick shooter. So if we can get the controls fixed this is 5 star game for sure. There were no instructions and not much guidance. How do you get hurt? What are the bonuses? If something flashes red, what does that mean? I wasted my money on this one. The challenge is high enough and the possibility to unlock new characters and try different combinations adds a lot of fun. Great job Orange Pixel! Previously this got 1 star for difficult controls, but within a few days the dev has included a sensitivity option which greatly improved the playability of the game. The directional sensitivity is very high, still, but this should be manageable with practice. The game itself is turning out to be a fun dungeon romp, albeit very unforgiving of mistakes. If you like a challenge, this might be right up your alley. There are some minor annoyances, such as object throwing being unintuitive, enemy drops disappearing very quickly and meta progression seeming very slow. (Updated to 5 stars thanks for adding sensitivity to the controls!) 10 STARS for adding MFI support!!!!!!! ### 5/5 — HoL2 *2016-06-20, version 1.1.0* So, now with Version 1.0.4 on the books, all initial issues have been addressed. The game works great on iOS 7 - the controls have a sensativity option and the stick was made smaller, speeding up your characters quicker - the bombs or keys not spawning - everything seems to have been taken care of, and everyone can see how much this game shines. If you loved the first one you'll, more likely than not, enjoy the stuffing outta this game. There's now permanent collectable spells, runes to give you another life, and characters who each do different damage to different enemies, adding a bit of strategy to the gameplay because you're able to take TWO characters with you into the dungeon. Every single thing this game does hits all the right spots. I really can not praise it enough. Definitely a 2016 GOTY contender. **update** HOLY WOWZERS!!! MFI CONTROLLER SUPPORT!!!! Also, 4 new heroes!!! I can't believe how much this game has improved in the WEEK since it's release!!! The hit box for it is on the top left of the screen, and others are in other random places. Not only that, but the buttons in game are broken. Their hit boxes are all off and the joystick is completely jacked up. Left = down, right = up, up = right, down = left. The game is completely unplayable because of that. Save your money!
