### 5/5 — Bug problem?!

*2016-05-29*

Such a fantastic finale to the series. Ties up everything nicely and leaves everything w a feeling of completion. But when i try to load a hero project save it doesn't let me load. Is it a bugbi suppose??

### 5/5 — Read it!!!

*2016-04-23, version 1.2.1*

I love this book so much, as an interactive novel it's great, there is a lot of different endings and choices. But as a book it was fantastic, the writing is amazing and creative. I do recommend buying the first books before this one order for it to be a better experience.

### 5/5 — Brilliant as always

*2016-04-06*

Always impressed with these, keep it up !

### 5/5 — Almost perfect ending

*2016-03-17*

A very good ending to a brilliant story.

Not as good as the first two books, but maybe we were just spoiled by their excellent quality. This is still a brilliant and well written piece.

A fitting end nonetheless to an epic trilogy.

### 5/5 — Better Than Its Predecessors

*2016-03-09*

Maybe not the best choice of game ever, but it is one of the good ones. The decisions you make in this game have very lasting effects. I even found an alternate ending (not sure if there are more) and enjoyed it fervently. Lot's of replay value to be had here.

### 5/5 — Amazing game but there is one problem

*2016-03-05*

Whenever I try to load my game from Hero Project it doesn't work. Why is this?

### 5/5 — Best of the best!

*2016-01-28*

I have never played a text game I was this totally engrossed in. It is a worthy cap on the trilogy, taking plot point me from the past games and weaving them into a truly epic climax. Three cheer for the hero project!

### 5/5 — I could not put my iPad down

*2016-01-11*

This trilogy is the most enticing, most interesting interactive story I've read from choice of games. I love it! Please do yourself a favor and read the stories!

### 5/5 — Great story

*2016-01-10, version 1.1.0*

Many different ways to play.

### 5/5 — HeroFall, an amazing story

*2016-01-09, version 1.1.0*

Heroes Rise: HeroFall was the perfect ending to a perfect trilogy. It had every emotion you could hope for, and more. HeroFall was a phenomenal read, and I'm very excited to get my hands on his new coming trilogy that will tie into this one. Amazing.

### 5/5 — why can't we give this 10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*2016-01-09*

Best story interaction series ever, why because there lots of different paths to take and lots of hard choice between which action to choose

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

I was absolutely blown away by the depth and variety of choices this trilogy offers. I was completely engrossed the whole time and would recommend this series 100%!

### 5/5 — The End of an awesome trilogy!

*2015-09-29*

Such a brilliant choice of game. Has highs and lows of emotion. I enjoyed every minute

### 5/5 — So good!

*2015-09-27*

I have read the previous two hero rise's and I have to say I have never been more hooked on reading in my life! This trilogy not only keeps you thinking what happens next but also gives you immense happiness or disparity in situations depending on your choices in game. I was really sad to complete this trilogy as I truly enjoyed every aspect of it!

### 5/5 — PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER

*2015-09-08, version 1.1.0*

I absolutely love your Heroes Rise series. Please you have to make another one about The second Hero Project. I honestly would pay a hundred dollars just for another. Your best was The Hero Project because we players had more action to engage in. Anyway please make another. I'm begging you!!!!!

### 5/5 — so much replay valueeeee

*2015-09-05, version 1.1.0*

i thoroughly enjoyed the entire story it's so engrossing and well done- I felt complete and heartbroken at the end. just perfect for a trilogy and very morally challenging

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Smh

*2017-03-22*

Can you please just give us all a game without forced gay/bi/trans interactions. Not to mention the forced complacency of the main character. If you're not cool with that sort of thing then you should have a choice right? Please don't force these things.

### 1/5 — Haven't played

*2015-05-10, version 1.1.0*

It hasn't let me load my save I did like a billion times and it says error all the time

### 1/5 — Hopes dashed

*2014-07-11, version 1.0.0*

I had high hopes for this book having purchased and enjoyed the two previous. How ever im disappointed mainly because the interface is messed up the stats screen freezes every time you turn a page and you have to exit and re enter just to know what your stats are. Further more as this is already a paid app i don't understand how they can justify charging you .99 for the me chip warning system which was easily available in the other games for ingame money. I have not finished reading the story yet but im already highly disappointed and suggest no one else buy this app until these bugs and "choices" are worked out.

### 2/5 — Hero Falls

*2014-07-14*

A lot of text and not a lot of choices. Disappointing.

### 3/5 — Rushed ending to a good story

*2016-08-07*

I followed this series from the beginning but have to say I was disappointed in the ending...it felt very rushed and unrealistic to me. That being said, it is still worth it I think to read this series as it does do it's job of keeping you entertained

### 3/5 — Great to have the final part, but...

*2014-07-21*

It felt somewhat shorter and more rushed than the other parts. I still enjoyed it, though on certain playthroughs I felt some of the commentary was very judgemental on my choices (it's a game, it's not real life) making it less lighthearted fun. And this part of the series was more obvious in its writers attempts at trying to promote the message of equality, making it feel a but more like a platform to preach LGBT rights, which is fine, if I wasn't paying to play a game as a super powered hero/anti hero in a fantasy world.

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2014-07-16, version 1.0.2*

I loved the first two HR games, and I know that I'm going to love this one too. However while HR1 had no trouble uploading saves, HR2 has some errors, and HR3 won't retrieve any uploads that are there from Hero Project. My latest save from my completion of Hero Project went through, however Herofall won't retrieve the data. Please fix this ASAP so I can start playing :/

### 5/5 — Incredible

*2021-11-29*

This game was phenomenal and I’m hoping to see a continuation in the Hero Rise series

### 5/5 — 1 of the best choice of games! Must play!

*2018-09-16*

Wow just got done with the series and I must say, this was 1 of the best choice of games I have played. Right up there with zombie exodus/safe haven. I was hesitant at first but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. If you are hesitant in buying the series don’t be. It is well worth the money. I wish that the story would never end that’s how great it was. The ending was bittersweet. Give this game a try!! You won’t regret. -Codename:Rize

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2018-05-17*

Fantastic end to an incredible trilogy.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Whoa.

*2018-03-27*

This is probably one of my favorite game series I've ever played. My choices, all the way from Prodigy, have impact—who knew befriending that character would help protect this person, for example? And the way the story unfolded, in an organic manner with a riveting plot, plus believable and complex characters... the whole package. I got the perfect ending (well, one love interest broke up with me, but my new beau is better anyways *cackles*). There's tons of customization and replayabilty throughout the whole story, and the ending left me with just the right amount of closure.

I could gush for paragraphs, but here's a shortened version: overall, a satisfying, impactful, and epic ending to an amazing series. Would play again. In fact, I'm doing that right now ;)

### 5/5 — A fantastic end to a fantastic trilogy.

*2017-09-26*

Enjoyed every minute of playing this, I could not wait to find out the end of the story and having to work out the best way of getting to the highest level was really thought-provoking, a great trilogy and I look forward to other contributions by this very talented writer. I look forward to going on to the versus series he has also written.

### 5/5 — Perfect trilogy

*2017-01-22*

After reading these 3 books . I'm ultimately happy with how the books were so in depth with the lore . Amazing characters and I like how my story ended probably because I just played it right .

### 5/5 — Absolutely flawless

*2016-12-27*

This game series is so utterly amazing that I had to write a review. Any fan of hero stories or choose your own adventures will love these games. Also the deep choices really make it feel like you are the character you make which is rare in any game, but it really feels like you.

### 5/5 — Love it so much !

*2016-11-23*

One of those trilogies I'll read/play again and again

### 5/5 — Heck yeah!

*2016-07-17, version 1.2.1*

I really enjoyed this series - the choice mechanics were solid and the characters were layered, even the bad guys. I played they ravenously back to back to back and had a lot of emotions. The writing was enjoyable but hooooo boy the romance writing was awkward most of the time. It speaks to the rest of the story/characterization that I ate it up anyway. Great adventure, I look forward to more.

### 5/5 — Perfect trilogy ending

*2016-07-06*

The words above this say it all, I couldn't have asked for a better way to end these great games. There was fighting, the characters you've grown to love or hate in the first two games, and so much more. It was absolutely perfect.
