## What is hêrtz?

A simple pitch pipe app with a four octave range. I was inspired to make this by a friend of mine who is majoring in Voice and Opera in college. As always, feedback is appreciated. Feel free to leave feedback on my YouTube channel, my GitHub, or on my App Store page as a review.

Looks great but allows one note and then freezes up!

I can only get it to sound one pitch. To change pitches the app has to be closed and relaunched. The tone is also very low even at max phone volume.

### 2.1 — 2019-04-13

1. Fixed bug that caused crashing.

2. Fixed bug that caused sound to get "stuck" and unable to stop.

### 2.0 — 2019-04-05

1. Generates tones from a synthesizer instead of an mp3 file; this allows for indefinite duration and pitch range.

2. Removed upper and lower octaves due to the fact that they aren't practically useful. Lowest octave was also very difficult to hear.

3. Updated UI and graphics to look prettier.

4. Fixed text auto-adjust so it doesn't constantly change when text changes. This was slightly jarring, and has been removed.

### 1.1 — 2019-03-30

1. App no longer has landscape (was a bug, was meant to only be in portrait).

2. Updated color scheme to look more appealing!

3. Now displays current octave to help users keep track!

4. Introduced a toggle button, which allows the user to choose between "press and hold", or "tap once".

5. Updated app for iPad users so that everything scales proportionally.
