Thank you so much!! ### 4/5 — Good App (paired with the Elsevier book) *2020-08-18, version 6.7.9* So, I only needed to take the Reading, Math, Biology, and Chemistry portions of the HESI exam. This app in conjunction with the HESI prep book by Elsevier really helped me a lot. I ended up getting a 94.5 cumulative score. 100 on the Biology, 92 on the Chemistry, 96 on the math, and 90 on the reading. That being said do not expect to see the questions on this app on the exam. The exam tests your critical thinking so, the app combined with the book gives you all the basic knowledge you need but, you need to apply that knowledge on the test. It is also important to note that if you took bio and chem (or whatever courses match with the exam sections you are taking) and then you study with the prep book and app, you should be fine. But, be warned the chemistry section was very random and the prep was only slightly helpful. I highly recommend going over the periodic table properties thoroughly. I knew the biology so well because I just took Microbio prior to the test and had a huge biology review in the course. The prep and app are GREAT for the math and reading though. All the being said, I studied for only 2 weeks and got these scores so, this is a great resource! ### 3/5 — Not for A&P *2020-08-14, version 6.7.9* I feel like it helped in the grammar and reading comprehension categories, math too, but the A&P HESI was totally different than what was on the app. I did not feel that this app prepared me well. You definitely need to know the material from your textbooks. ### 5/5 — A Good Tool *2020-07-26, version 6.7.9* This was a great aid for me in prepping for the HESI. The review questions were accurate in Math, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, and Vocabulary. For Anatomy I did learn a thing or two with the help of the app, however it is very important to study intensely for this portion using outside resources such as college Anatomy textbooks and videos. My highest score was in vocab, 98, and lowest in reading was 90. My A&P was 92, math 94. I may have studied a total of 4 hours. Because of my score I was chosen for an interview and continue the process of applying. If you have to take the test you have to try this app. I downloaded it but didn’t pay for the upgrade until closer to my test. I used the version that only lasts for a certain amount of time. I don’t remember the details. This app helped me pass the HESI a2 and I believe if you get the $16 subscription, you can pass your exam too. This app provides great practice questions that are on/related to the HESI a2 exam. However, I did not have physiology as a section for my exam. I don't think this app provides good questions for physiology but that did not affect me. If you think it will affect you, study physiology separately.
