## What is hetkies?

hetki pets is a meditation app with a small pixel pet in it.

tell it what's going on, type it, or say it out loud. and it builds a
meditation around that. not a library of recordings to scroll through. a
session made for the day you're actually having, in the length you have
time for.

your pet sits with you while you listen.


HOW IT WORKS

— say what's on your mind, or type it
— pick a length: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 or 60 minutes
— press play. the pet breathes with you until the end bell


A COURSE TO START FROM

seven guided sessions that build on each other: breath, then the body, the
senses, thoughts, emotions, and finally the whole of experience at once.
four to eleven minutes each. start at the beginning if meditation is new to
you, or skip it and just ask for what you need.


A PET, NOT A STREAK

pick a cat, a cloud or an alien. name it, give it a colour, and it's yours.

it has hearts that fill when you meditate and fade while you're away. that's
the only nudge. there is no streak to break, nothing is taken from you for
missing a day, and a couple of minutes brings it right back. show up when
you can. it'll be there when you get back.


THINGS TO EARN

meditating earns experience, and experience earns levels. levels hand out
gift boxes: knit beanies, bell collars, flower crowns, things to keep. a few
small tasks each day, and a reward for finishing them.


FRIENDS

add someone by scanning their code. see their pet, poke it when it's looking
low, leave them a note. friends see your pet's mood and level, not what you
typed or said.
