## What is Hex by Hex?

Hex by Hex is a tight five minute roguelite race on a small hex map.

Claim adjacent tiles, build up a resource economy, and race the Tide clock before the AI boxes you in. Each run is a fresh map, a new AI faction, and a clean shot at a faster finish time.

Team up or go solo on bigger maps. Version 1.1 brings 2v2 and 3v3 team modes, a map-size picker with up to six AI opponents, and a coin market where you control the conversion recipe.

New:
- Team Mode: play 2v2 or 3v3 from opposite corners of the hex map. Coordinate territory with your ally and race the enemy teams to domination.
- Map Size Picker: choose your battlefield. Larger maps support up to six AI factions for sprawling multi-front wars.
- Coin Market: fine-tune your economy with manual or automatic resource-to-coin conversion. Pick your recipe, set it, and watch the coins roll.
- View Board: after each run, inspect the final map to see where you won or lost ground.
- Main Menu: jump straight back to the lobby from the run summary.

Fixed:
- Best completion times now track correctly in team mode.
- Faction names are clearer, using color-based labels instead of random fantasy names.
- Encirclement victory now requires the player to hold the majority, no more lopsided wins from AI collisions.
- Results button stays visible even when the board freezes at match end.
- Settings is now a full-screen pausing overlay with a direct Main Menu exit.
- Your starting tile House always earns at least a minimum coin rate so opening turns never stall.
