What bums me out is that it seems to have recycled me back to beginner layouts. They are just too easy & boring. Enjoyed it for quite a while, despite the incessant ads and the “don’t you want to pay for no ads?” pop up that come up after a few series. The answer was and is ‘no’. I’ll tolerate the annoyance. But NOW there are ads not only playing at the bottom but that now pop up WHILE a game I’m playing is in progress. At first I thought I hit on the ad at the bottom of the screen. Nope. The board is full of arrowed hex tiles and your job is to slide them off the board in the right order. Sounds easy until you pick the wrong tile and they all bump into each other and nothing moves. Total block. It is free, bright, colorful, super clean graphics, no timers stressing you out. It is described as relaxing and casual but honestly it gets clever fast. **The loop that hooks you:** You tap a tile, it tries to exit in the direction of its arrow. If the path is clear, clean shift, satisfying clear. If not, bump, stuck, rethink everything. So every level turns into this mini chess moment like, okay if I move the purple one first, does the orange one have space to go next? It is 100% a keeps you busy type of strategy game. That is why I cannot put it down. The wheels stay turning the whole time. What tiles should I pick next? What order actually opens the board? You feel so smart when you finally crack a level that had you stuck for five minutes. **Why it slaps for gamers:** * **Easy to learn, big brain to master.** First few levels teach you in like 30 seconds, then it starts testing your sorting and logic skills for real. * **Perfect flow game.** No lives, no rage timers. Just you, the board, and that little dopamine hit when the board clears. * **Actually makes you better.** You start seeing patterns and thinking three moves ahead without even trying. * Rated 4.6 stars for a reason, people are obsessed and it just got updated in March. **My current setup lol:** I have been playing it while I pop my Goli health and wellness gummies and running the game ads to stack Goli cash. Honestly genius combo. I get my puzzle fix and I might just earn enough to grab more wellness stuff from their shop. With all the game ads I want lately, more power to me. May I win the Goli cash and claim a full health and wellness fortune! **Final verdict:** If you love logic puzzles, sorting games, or you just want something fun to play on the couch that still keeps your brain on, download Hexa Shift. It is relaxing, it is addictive, it is that perfect one more level game. 4.5 / 5 hexas.
