The app is really well thought out with nice features such as: - strong search facility with REGEX -you can select different types of views with just a tap -A real bonus is all the relevant file information that is provided by the app. I would give it five stars except for a minor, but annoying, bug which I have reported to the developer. I'm running the latest version of iOS 14 and the caps lock and num lock features on the keyboard do not work with this app. Instead of staying locked, they switch back to their default positions. So if I turn on caps lock and type "b" I get a "B". But all the following Characters are lowercase, and you can see The caps lock turn off. Same thing with num lock. You get one number and then the keyboard switch is back to alpha. All in all, it is still the best file viewer I have found for iOS and it's right up there with the best file viewers I have used on windows and Linux. It does look like the developer is making regular updates, so that's great. I appreciate that he has a link to send bugs and feature requests. ### 4/5 — Crashes on iPad *2020-10-01* Many thanks for this app! Most crashy app I’ve used in a long time. Junk. ### 1/5 — App does not do what it says *2024-08-04* I was under the impression that the app could actually edit the files, but you can only see the files which is useless for me if you wanna edit files, do not buy this app and they do not offer refunds as well which I don’t think is right because I just bought it about half an hour ago **Developer response:** I am sorry to hear that. Unfortunately it is not possible for apps in the AppStore to provide their own refunds. You can however refund the app through Apple; just google “AppStore refund”, you will find a guide that I hope will be helpful to you. I tried to make it as clear as possible in the AppStore description that the apps is not an editor, but just a viewer. I am sorry you feel misled here. I hope a refund can set things right. I would greatly appreciate if you could change your app rating afterwards; many people are actually just looking for Hex viewers and I don’t want them to get scared away from this. Once again I am truly sorry the app did not meet your expectations and I hope the refund process restores things for you. ### 1/5 — No editing feature *2022-05-20* I realize that the notes do say that editing will be supported in a future version, but for paying $3.99 for a file that can simply VIEW files… not worth the money. I am sorry it did not provide the functionality you are looking for. ### 2/5 — Pros and Cons *2021-03-15* The app is great,The placement of all the functions is perfect.The clean set up is easy to read the file and find a specific sections. ****B U T**** I can’t believe I just paid for an app that I cannot make changes to the file! This is ridiculous what is the point of this app? Someone spent so much time developing this and left out the most important part of it. Don’t buy this app if you actually plan to use it for some thing other than looking at the file .. LOL **Developer response:** I am sorry you feel this way. The page at no point claims it can do editing functionality. It is currently meant for analysis of files with many features geared to be used this way. But I continue work on the app and editing functional is planned to be added in the future. ### 3/5 — Beautiful design, does what it says but … *2023-04-20* App does what it says, is beautifully designed and has a decent color scheme, I just wish the developer could add editing functionality something like what Flipper Zero app lets you do, Also I appreciate it if he could add support for Flipper Zero nfc files. Hehe. ### 5/5 — A life-saver *2024-12-06* The design is thoughtful and elegant; simple, as a mobile app demands, but without skimping on powerful analysis features (although you might have to switch out of portrait mode to make the most of them)! This is by far the best hex viewing app I've ever used. The colors (and value ranges to which they apply) make finding certain patterns in files INCREDIBLY easy... to the point I always wish I had just loaded it up sooner.
