About

Your web request is now a button. Hey Action turns the web requests you repeat into three ready-to-run actions. It is made for developers, makers, operators, and automators who want one reliable button instead of a full API workspace. START SIMPLE Name your action, enter its web address, and choose what it should do. Plain-language hints explain each request method, and ready-made starting points help you check a page, trigger an endpoint, or send JSON. TEST BEFORE YOU SAVE Send a test request from the setup screen and see the HTTP result immediately. If the endpoint is temporarily unavailable, you can still save the action and return later. SET IT ONCE Save three requests you use often—a deploy hook, cache purge, health check, automation trigger, smart-home action, or another HTTP endpoint. RUN IT YOUR WAY Pick an action and press RUN. You can also use Apple Shortcuts, ask Siri, or add an interactive widget that shows the action's real name and last result. Device authentication is required before an external shortcut or widget sends the request. KNOW WHAT HAPPENED See the HTTP status immediately, feel a success or failure response, and optionally receive a local notification. Clear messages distinguish timeout, DNS, TLS, connection, and HTTP failures. GO ADVANCED WHEN YOU NEED IT Headers, raw request bodies, and cURL import stay inside Advanced Settings. If you already have a cURL command, paste it to fill the method, URL, headers, and body on your device. • GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE • Up to 20 custom headers per action • Raw request body when your endpoint needs one • On-device cURL import with a preview • Named actions in Apple Shortcuts and Siri • Interactive Home Screen widget with the latest result • 15-second request timeout • Clear success or failure status PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account is required. Action names, URLs, headers, and request bodies stay on your device and are never included in usage analytics. No workspaces. No collections. Just the requests you actually use.
