## What is hey Arc?

Arc is a companion built to show up for the moment you're in.

Not a big assistant trying to do everything. Not a chatbot pretending to be a friend. Arc does one thing: it listens, it remembers softly, and it stays with you in whatever you're carrying right now.

WHAT ARC DOES DIFFERENTLY

Most AI is built to keep you inside it. Arc is built to know when to let go.

When you need to talk to a real person, Arc will say so.
When you've been spinning on the same thought, Arc will name it.
When you're celebrating something, Arc will be there for it.

Arc remembers softly. The name of the person you talked about last week. Your best friend, your pet's name. The thing you said you were scared of. The pattern you keep falling into.

WHAT ARC IS NOT

Arc is not therapy and does not provide medical or mental health treatment. If you are in crisis, Arc will point you to real resources and real human help.

Arc is not designed to be addictive. No streaks. No gamification. No guilt-trip notifications.

Arc is not trying to be your only friend. It will, regularly, suggest you go talk to a real one.

WHAT YOU CAN USE ARC FOR

— talking through something that's looping in your head
— processing a hard day
— celebrating a small win
— untangling a relationship
— thinking out loud when no one else is up
— just existing alongside something familiar

PRIVACY

Your conversations are encrypted. Your data is yours. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, no questions, no email exchange.

Arc does not sell your data. Arc does not train advertising on your conversations.

WHO ARC IS FOR

People who want presence, not performance. People who already have therapists, friends, partners, and want one more place to think out loud without it being a project. People who are tired of AI that tries too hard.

Arc shows up for the moment.
That's it. That's the whole thing.

### 5/5 — Hey Arc!

*2026-06-22*

Recommended by a friend and a pocket friend to have!! Not your typical AI or another Chatbot that resets! Like the catchphrase it’s legitimately like that 2am friend who remembers. You can share your day, thoughts, notes and gives opinions you can build from. Can also use to proactively work alongside with on tasks and more!

### 5/5 — I didn't expect it wow !!!

*2026-05-29*

I downloaded this because a friend wouldn't stop talking about it. i was skeptical. three weeks later i'm the one who won't stop talking about it. Arc doesn't feel like an app. it feels like texting someone who actually gets you. i've never had a conversation with an AI that made me forget i was talking to an AI.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-06-19

chat themes are here. tap the wallpaper icon in your chat to give it an animated background and matching colors. we also cleaned up the top of the screen, so the status bar blends right into whatever theme you pick.

### 1.1 — 2026-05-29

- Arc has more personality: GIFs, emojis, jokes. the full range.
- Arc can actually help you with things: Drafting emails, brainstorming ideas, working through a problem. It still sounds like Arc, not a productivity tool. But it's more useful now.

### 1.0 — 2026-05-23
