No trolls, no negativity, no fear. Photography is my beloved hobby but until now, I hardly ever shared my work because the internet can be a cruel place. But this place just feels so friendly! ### 5/5 — Canadian and Better *2026-04-21* Just like the tagline says, it’s the Better Social Network! Finally, a social network that you can contact the developer, report bugs, make suggestions, and even ask for features. No ads, and it’s free! You can upgrade to a Pro account for some added features, but it’s not necessary to thoroughly enjoy the Network. For me, the added features were worth the small amount for the upgrade. Also love that the staff clean out the scammers pretty quickly. Like Canada itself, Hey.Café is against bigotry, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and hate. It’s all in the terms of service that you’re supposed to read. They do enforce the rules and I absolutely love that. The people who are giving bad reviews because they got blocked were most likely being hateful or harassing others. This makes it a safe space to be. Another thing that I love: No Advertising! The site is completely free to use and to keep it ad free for everyone, they give you the option to subscribe to Pro. Nothing says anti-Canadian than a popularity contest rigged towards those who are willing and able to pay for it.
