We’re talking puppies, people, and a whole lot of logistics—training outings, puppy-sitting swaps, club meetings, supply exchanges, new raiser orientation, youth protection policies… you name it. Before Heylo, we were duct-taping together text chains, emails, Google Forms, and calendar invites. Important info would get buried, people felt out of the loop, and leaders were stretched thin just trying to keep everyone connected and informed. Heylo changed everything. Here’s what I love: 🐾 It’s one clear, welcoming hub. Events, chats, signups, files, and photos all live in one place—easy for volunteers to navigate and even easier for leaders to manage. 🐾 It cuts down on the swirl. No more chasing RSVPs, repeating announcements, or reattaching the same PDF five times. The app helps us set things up once, clearly, and move forward. 🐾 It right-sizes the noise. With role-based communication and event-based chats, people get the info that’s relevant to them—no more overwhelm, no more radio silence. It keeps members engaged without flooding their inboxes. (And, amen, no more “reply alls” in their inboxes!) 🐾 Leaders get to lead. Instead of drowning in admin work, they’re mentoring, connecting, and growing the club. Heylo helps us focus on the why behind what we’re doing. 🐾 It strengthens community. We’ve created group chats like “Puppy Supply Exchange” and “Puppysitting Opportunities” where people genuinely show up for one another. Visible RSVPs encourage participation and allow participants to coordinate efficiently. Our mission is about building confidence—both in the puppies and in the people raising them. Great app focused on getting people together, nothing else. Easy to learn and no bugs. Love the simplicity, lack of time sink tendency on that “other”platform. It has all the features we need, and everything works nicely (don’t think I’ve run into a single bug yet). Everyone was able to figure it out easily, and the chat is perfect for communicating / coordinating leading up to events.
