## What is HFF?

Your training. Your rhythm. Everything in one place.

HFF brings flexible planning, workout logging and useful analysis together. Build strength and HFF sessions, create Metcons, and keep HIIT, runs, rides, soccer, swimming and other activities in view. You decide what fits today.

TRAIN YOUR WAY

• Build workouts from exercises, sets, reps, weights and cardio.
• See what you achieved last time while logging each set.
• Create Metcons as AMRAP, EMOM or For Time — including after strength work.
• Combine supersets, warm-up, strength, Metcon and cool-down.
• Record open sessions or add individual personal bests.

PLANS FOR REAL LIFE

Create multi-week plans from open workouts, Metcons, recording days and other activities. Organize long plans into sections, move to the right week after a break and keep private block notes. Export plans, share eligible plans or create a PDF.

THE HFF METHOD — ONE PART OF THE APP

Main, Push and Pull form a compact foundation for regular training. Adapt volume and effort to your day. The HFF Method is one way to use the app, not a rule for every workout.

PUT PROGRESS IN CONTEXT

• Exercise history, personal bests and heaviest sets
• Guidance from your best lift — a real single, or an estimated 1RM
• A weekly overview including imported activities
• Weekly reports, badges and progress photos
• Effort across the last seven days
• Daily readiness from your overnight recovery data
• A Fitness Score built from available training and health data

With limited data, HFF provides cautious guidance that is clearly marked as provisional. Missing data is not treated as poor performance. The more relevant data you choose to share, the more meaningful your Fitness Score and readiness can become.

APPLE WATCH REMOTE CONTROL

Control the workout prepared on your iPhone from your wrist: start, pause, check sets, skip exercises, adjust rest and log Metcon rounds. When a chest strap is connected to your iPhone, its heart rate also appears on Apple Watch.

OPTIONALLY CONNECTED

Connect Apple Health to import activities, export completed sessions and add context from the health data you allow. Use any standard Bluetooth chest strap or sync training data through your private iCloud.

In private Community groups, join challenges, send preset encouragement and share training plans. There are no public profiles, feed or free-text chat.

No HFF account. No ads. No tracking.

FREE TO START

Free includes a curated exercise selection, flexible workouts and plans, history, weekly overview, progress photos, Community and up to three custom exercises.

HFF PRO

HFF Pro unlocks additional content and analysis:

• full exercise library and custom exercises without the free limit
• AI Coach for questions, catalog search and workout suggestions
• Fitness Score history, breakdown and detailed charts
• photo, body-measurement, readiness and muscle-group comparisons
• private one-to-one coaching with shared plans and progress values

Depending on your device, the AI Coach uses Apple Intelligence on your iPhone or a provider you connect. Before anything goes to that provider, HFF shows the destination and data categories and asks for consent.

HFF is not a medical device. Fitness Score, readiness and effort provide general guidance and do not replace diagnosis or medical advice.

HFF Pro is available as an auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscription through Apple. The price and any trial are shown before purchase. Your subscription renews until cancelled. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings and restore purchases in the app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-10-26

New in 1.5

• Plans: a training you do several times a week now has its own days — Day 1, Day 2 and so on. Add exercises to a single day, or to every day of this training.
• Start any day in any order. Each day with exercises has a big Start button, and the Today card lets you choose when more than one is ready.
• A day with exercises counts when you start it from the plan. Free trainings and Apple Health activities fill the open days.
• Did more than planned? It shows as “1 more than planned” instead of disappearing.
• The plan recap at the end now counts everything that fulfilled your plan — workouts, cardio from Apple Health and checked-off days — per training.
• Plan progress now includes activities from earlier weeks.
• Change the start date of a running plan.
• Workout builder: hold and drag to reorder exercises in HFF and Metcon blocks.
• Exercises: “Measured by” can be changed even after you have trained with an exercise. Your own exercises can list the muscles that also work.
• Metcon lines show reps or minutes exactly as the exercise is measured.
• The plan card uses the same check mark everywhere: tap to check off, tap again to undo.
• Apple Watch: the check mark on the last cool-down step ends the workout, and the first step reaches the watch more reliably.
• Fixes: designing a training in a plan keeps your order and exercises, and a running plan no longer gets replaced by an older one.

### 1.4 — 2026-10-13

New in 1.4

• Create plans step by step: name, duration or sections, then the trainings for each section.
• Each section can have its own training days and a flexible or fixed order.
• Five kinds of training: HFF, free-form, Metcon, cardio and any other activity.
• Design an HFF, free-form or Metcon training with the same builder you use for a single workout – or keep it open, and any matching training counts.
• Edit an existing plan in the same steps.
• "Mark as done" responds right away: your plan card shows what you checked off, with Undo, and then the next day.
• Deleting a plan from its page now closes it reliably.
• The week view names your sessions by type: HFF, free-form or Metcon.
• In a flexible plan, the week strip marks the days you trained.
• A clearer HFF Pro screen.
• The heart-rate strap note now says HFF looks for it when you start.

### 1.3 — 2026-10-11

New in 1.3

• Building a plan is simpler: set the duration right at the top, then add sessions by type – HFF, strength, cross training, running, cycling, swimming or another activity.
• Exercises are optional. Add them to HFF, strength or cross-training sessions if you want; HFF, free-form and Metcon editors open as usual.
• Sections appear as tabs, and each section has its own sessions – for example strength first, then a running block.
• Sessions without exercises count when you train: a free HFF or strength workout, a Metcon, or a matching activity from Apple Health.
• "Mark as done" now works from the first day of a plan, and plan progress counts every completed day.
• Cardio days with a target time add up your minutes across the week and show how many are still missing.
• Flexible order: a plan can be a weekly goal – for example 3× HFF and 1× running, on any day and in any order. Weeks run Monday to Sunday, and you choose whether a plan starts today or next Monday.
• Your plan card shows the week from Monday to Sunday, how many sessions are done and what is still open, and lets you undo a check mark.
• Change this week only: adjust a plan day for one week – for example enter this week's WOD as a Metcon – while the other weeks keep the plan.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-06

New in 1.2

• A new Workout screen: your active plan with its next day and one start button, plus your running challenges with progress bars.
• A new Progress screen: your Fitness Score with its eight-week trend at the top, all other values in compact rows. Choose in Settings which areas you see and in which order.
• Metcons: a five-second countdown before the clock starts, calories in the overview and review, and your result shown right next to the option to change it.
• The strength part of a Metcon workout now counts towards personal bests.
• Apple Watch shows the current exercise in interval blocks.
• Wider weight and rep fields that are easier to tap.
• Coaching shows the status of an invitation and loads more reliably.
