So I have to add money to my app wallet but then I need to have atleast 8.5 dollars in my apps wallet. At this point I just want my card removed. ### 2/5 — Fun ride, annoying bike *2024-08-13, version 1.0.13* Whenever you start up the bike or end your ride, there is an amazingly loud, incredibly annoying cartoon voice that comes up over speakers imbedded in the bike, letting everyone around you know what’s happening. Not great for late night in residential areas. Also, it restricts movements. The law states you’re not allowed going over 25 km/h in Halifax on an e-scooter. Instead of letting you, the rider, make that decision, if you start going downhill and gravity picks you up and takes you past 25, the bike starts making an incredibly loud, annoying beeping, and then applies breaks for you. Lastly, they charge you just for turning on the bike. Regardless of how far you take it. Like charging you for the pleasure of charging you to use the bike. ### 4/5 — Fun but challenging to end a ride *2024-08-04, version 1.0.13* I picked up and dropped the scooter at the same location but it wouldn't let me end the ride. It took 5 mins to figure it out and the. I was able to end it in the middle of the road into the hotel. I shut it down and then moved it off to the sidewalk and it was fine. ### 3/5 — Fun, glitchy app though *2024-07-03, version 1.0.12* This app has a lot of issues ### 4/5 — App works well, scooters are powerful, but not well positioned *2023-10-02* The app is fine, although I found the use of the word “lock” for “end trip” a little confusing. The scooters themselves are very powerful, you can get straight up the hill in Halifax, it’s very liberating. However, each morning I would set out to fetch coffee and discover there were no scooters within 10 blocks of my hotel, which took some of the wind out of the sails. They could stand to do more scooter rebalancing. None of the scooters were charged up. App requires a ton of information ### 2/5 — A lot of issues with app, scooters are mostly fine. *2023-07-05, version 1.0.2* I’m trying to get to work and the app won’t even let me sign in. Sometimes you can’t even cancel the ride because it doesn’t even show up on the app. other times the throttle just stops working and you have to cancel your ride early. Finally have to delete the account and uninstalled the app. Couldn’t reach customer care might be because of odd hours. I’ve got a new card since then so a reply would be nice. The money shows that it’s gone from my wallet now too but I never got the money back. When you click other ways to contact nothing happens. So I decided to sign up on my own phone! The app proceeds to charge me $45 for a scooter trip then continued to say the scooter was broken. I only loaded $10 on the app in the first place! I never got to ride and now I lost a lot of money for no reason.
