I am 78 years old and can not navigate your HHC chart system. I do not expect any more help from your providers and I can never see one in person. This is not the way to treat the elderly. ### 1/5 — Sick visit *2026-08-12* Scheduled a sick visit because I needed a work note excusing me from duty. I’m a Firefighter EMT and can’t go to work sick. I’ve been sick for the past 8 days and needed a work note excusing for the 8th and the 12th. Care giver was rude, talked over me, and could care less about my need for a note, saying I wasn’t under their care on the 8th. I have never had this issue in the past. I thought to do the virtual visit because the idea of sitting in an uncomfortable ER for hours just so they can send me home with muscle relaxers for back pain sounds absurd, but I can’t get an appointment with a doctor for almost 14 hours.
