## What is Hi?

Talking can be fundamental to promoting a healthy state of mind, but most of us struggle to communicate effectively when it comes to ourselves.  
By providing an online environment free from judgement, Hi connects people with stories to tell and experiences to share, all centred around the central topic of self-doubt.  

Hi is a vehicle for change, driving a more open, less stigmatised future where chatting about a topic that affects us all is no longer a taboo.

The details
Hi is a storytelling platform. As a contributor you are able to write, personalise and share your own stories from your private account. You can do this anonymously or let people know who you are. 
Readers can react to your story, as a way of letting you know you're being heard, and that you're not alone. If you're not yet comfortable sharing your own story, then browse hundreds of stories, react to ones that impact you, and save to your personal collection the stories that you want to remember. 
The story feed is refreshed daily as new stories become available, and new inspiration is shared. 

Hi is people-led.
It's about bringing people together to break down the barriers surrounding topics that impact all of us, in this case self-doubt. It is not pretending to have answers, offer a solution, or provide a 'cure' to mental health issues that take different forms for different people. 
Rather, Hi is the mechanism by which people find out information about self-doubt, and not from the self-help aisle, but from real people with real experiences to share. 
We're not trying to tell you what works. We've developed a platform for you to go on that journey yourself, because what works for you is unique to you.
