### 4/5 — Not bad for cost

*2026-04-18, version 3.12.0*

Don’t let the language scare you away. It’s compatible with English. It took about a day+ to see any birds but now they know it’s there and are eating. The video quality is really good and you can hear the birds too. The only thing I don’t get is alerts that are audible on my phone. But, I do get notifications that are visible. Happy with the feeder.

### 3/5 — Bird recognition wrong

*2026-04-16, version 3.12.0*

Not impressed with the bird recognition. Tells me there are squirrels and its grackles or doves. Said we had ducks and it was pigeons.

### 3/5 — Could be better

*2026-01-04*

We are finally logged in on both my phone and my husbands phone. Wickapedia needs to update or learn birds because it’s not giving the correct names. It’s calling a cardinal a rosy love bird-that’s a freakin parrot. And you can mark inaccurate identification— it’s called make it update correctly

Checking my feeder remotely while traveling washes away fatigue; Cloud storage ensures I never miss a moment.

My skeptic birding buddy tested it with 10 tricky photos—100% accuracy, mind blown!

### 5/5 — Bedtime Ritual

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No one works at this place!!!

*2026-05-22, version 3.12.0*

This is horrific!! Not worth a dime!! No one will answer questions!!

### 1/5 — Poor quality

*2026-03-11, version 3.10.0*

Do not purchase!!Camera worked one time. Battery went dead and would not take a charge. No service contact phone number to ask for assistance.

### 1/5 — HiBirds

*2025-04-19, version 3.8.9*

These Cameras and App is Trash, don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — Frustrating App

*2025-01-06, version 3.4.2*

Not a user-friendly app. And certainly not intuitive. Very frustrating to use. There’s got yo be better apps out there!!!

### 1/5 — Won’t work long.

*2024-12-07, version 3.4.2*

Camera kills the battery and the charger can’t keep up.

### 1/5 — Just bad

*2024-06-02, version 3.4.2*

Very disappointed in this app. It identified a squirrel as a great horned owl, an anhinga, a chickadee and about 10 other types of birds. This app has so many flaws I can’t even name them all. The free version on the app will not take photos, videos or send any phone notifications… it requires a monthly subscription to work in any capacity. So disappointed in this app that I packed up my birthday gift (bird feeder with camera) and returned it. I’ll buy a different one that uses an app that works.

### 1/5 — Stunningly bad

*2024-04-18, version 3.3.7*

There is simply no way to get video from the cloud (if it recorded it) other than removing the SD card (if it wasn’t erroring). You can try to hit play and then record, but if it is a 5 second video, you waste 2 seconds trying to do that.

This app and product is not good.

### 1/5 — Horrible ripoff

*2023-12-27, version 3.0.7*

My kids bought my wife this bird camera thing. It works ok but the app is this huge ripoff mess. There’s no way to find the user ID used or change the password. To contact customer service it wants you to install another Chinese WeChat program that requires your mobile number.
If it had not been a gift I would punt it right back to mainland C.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t record everything

*2026-05-16, version 3.12.0*

I came home to find my feeder off its mount, in the patio 10 ft from the porch. The mount was still on the wall, but the feeder was torn down, the camera completely unplugged, the feed all over the ground. I go to the app to see if it was a squirrel that got on the feeder to only find nothing except what was recorded around 2 hours before this would have happened. There’s nothing. I can’t know if it was a squirrel or someone being rude and destroying something. Kind of useless if it doesn’t record, and no, my storage is not full. I have the VIP too, so don’t bother paying for that.

### 2/5 — Cannot Add Users on iPhone

*2025-04-26, version 3.8.9*

Very frustrating. You click to add someone and it just sends a link and when they open that link, there is no way to view the camera.

### 5/5 — Perfect for Homeschool Science!

*2025-08-26*

Great for teaching kids about birds! Accurate species recognition and family-friendly birdwatching fun.

### 5/5 — good camera

*2025-08-26*

On the app, the product owner (i.e. my wife) can share the account with the rest of us. Therefore, when a bird is fed on a bird feeder, we will all receive a notification on our device and enjoy the experience at the same time.
It's really easy to set up. In the box, the product cọmes with an instruction manual.

### 5/5 — just good

*2025-08-25*

Smart alerts make it easy to see which birds are visiting. The app instantly identifies species and even saves the best photos and videos.
It's fun and easy to set up.

### 5/5 — Best Customer Support Ever!

Got a response in 15 minutes! They even remotely adjusted my camera angle – 5-star service!

### 5/5 — Cọmmuter Anticipation

*2025-08-24*

Can’t wait to check the app on my way home for new visitors.

### 5/5 — Better Than Professional Camera

*2025-08-24*

Can't believe a phone app shows such details - even water droplets on beaks!

### 5/5 — Silent Cọmpanionship

*2025-08-23, version 3.9.12*

Living alone, watching birds makes the house feel less empty.

### 5/5 — Bird Family Drama

*2025-08-23*

Watching parent birds feed their chicks is better than NatGeo.
