Also have google authenticator and Duo mobile. So I was not expecting trouble using this HID app. Oh no. My online CAF Bank in uk says I need to authenticate the transaction by tapping Approve or Decline in the app. Yes the app popped up with the correct screen but tap as often as I like and neither button responded. In fact I was locked on this screen of the app. Had to force close to get out. Simple it is not. Why not just work like all the other authentication apps I have and display a code. I give up. UPDATE: it has a rather unusual user interface and you don't TAP the buttons as my bank's instructions clearly state BUT have to swipe them left and right off the screen. Please follow the norm on iPhone and accept a tap on a button. Swiping is reserved for selecting options on a particular item of a list e.g. iOS email Flag or delete. ### 1/5 — This is so un-accessible *2025-08-12, version 6.0.2* It is impossible to use. They asked me to download and use this HID Approve app instead of the physical token I have. But reading the reviews I simply can’t risk making a poor service into a worse one. Why would any organisation (looking at you, Coop Bank) choose to use this rather than the more common Authenticator apps, which everyone already has one of? I don’t want to have another app just to let me into an online service. Aside from the fact it shouldn’t exist, it also really isn’t very well implemented. ### 1/5 — Useless app *2025-05-02, version 5.12* Bank says put in 4 digit code but app wants 8 digits ### 1/5 — Absolutely horrible *2025-04-09, version 5.12.1* This and Voalte are the worst healthcare apps I’ve used so far, and l’ve used some real stinkers. It took me a month to jump through all the hoops to set this up, vs. VIP access which took me 5 minutes. Shockingly bad. ### 2/5 — NEEDS UPDATE!! *2025-04-02, version 5.12.1* I’m a healthcare provider and I use this app in conjunction with my computer to approve prescriptions that are submitted digitally to the local pharmacies. Each prescription submission requires a swipe on the green approval bar and a password to be entered. For over a year, the password autofill feature has been broken. Sometimes it works, other times it autofills nothing and I have to try again. It’s totally random and frustrating. Anyways, I had hoped this issue would eventually get fixed, but now it’s completely broken with the iOS 18.4 update in April 2025. No passwords will autofill and it comes up blank every time. Very annoying issue that I wish the developers would fix. ### 1/5 — Mr *2025-03-02, version 5.12.1* I have just moved my bank account to Coop business banking. I have never had so much trouble. I cannot see how customers can continue to use coop bank if this app is the only way to access the account. To be honest I don’t know who is to blame, the app or the Coop. The code generation and the set-up is so confusing. I’m going for a lie down. Either auto or manual registration. You should not have to use this the first time you log into a new, online banking account when you already have a plethora of IDs and numbers to contend with. I wonder if anybody from the Co-op bank has ever used it themselves? Generated a couple of codes, both of which are rejected by the Co-op business account UPDATE 24 hours later and having generated a dozen different codes I am still finding that none of them works. Although this app offers copying the code to the clipboard, the Cooperative Business app doesn’t allow pasting the token code, and furthermore you can’t see what you’ve typed. We’ve just switched our business account to Co-op and everything works brilliantly. The app generates a OTP which is used to log-in and works just fine. Une fois l’enrôlement du téléphone effectué (*), l’usage est on ne peut plus simple : lorsqu’il y a une transaction à valider, on reçoit une notification sur le téléphone et on approuve de façon très intuitive. (*) cela consiste à flasher un QR code, puis à saisir un mot de passe qu’il ne faudra pas oublier, car si on active TouchID (ou FaceID), le code ne sera redemandé que 6 mois plus tard. Mais du coup, l’authentification se fait de façon très conviviale. ### 5/5 — Fonctionne correctement *2021-03-15* Je ne comprends pas les messages négatifs récents.
