## What is HiDae?

AI-guided reflective journaling through symbolic imagery.

HiDae is a mindfulness and self-reflection tool that uses symbolic imagery as a psychological projection framework — a technique rooted in Carl Jung's research and used in associative imagery work. Before each session, a guided breathing exercise prepares your mind. Then you set your intention, explore a symbolic image, and a large language model works through the symbol with you — surfacing your own thinking, never predicting your future.

WHAT MAKES HIDAE DIFFERENT
This is not a horoscope or fortune-telling app. HiDae makes no predictions and has no fixed image meanings to look up. Every image is randomly paired with an abstract keyword, so the meaning comes from what you project onto it — not from a lookup table. The AI then asks Socratic questions that help you articulate insights you already sense. Each session is unique to your exact question.
