Lens Glint Finder turns your torch into a guided visual sweep, walking you through the places cameras actually get hidden and using the reflection off the lens to give them away. A manual aid, deliberately — it does not claim to detect anything by itself. Deep scan for cameras hiding on your network Some cameras sit on the Wi-Fi and simply never announce themselves, so nothing turns up in an ordinary scan. Deep scan checks each address on your own network for the ports cameras and recorders listen on. It is off until you turn it on, only ever looks at the network you are already connected to, and sends nothing to the devices it finds — it opens a connection and closes it again. Unbranded IP cameras Cheap cameras and recorders often advertise no recognizable vendor name. They are now identified by the services and ports they expose, so a no-name camera is no longer invisible. Evidence you can hand to someone Attach up to five photos to any finding. Exports now carry a SHA-256 integrity digest, so a recipient can verify the file has not been altered, alongside a For Law Enforcement section covering where the data came from and — just as importantly — what it cannot prove on its own. Ratings you can read at a glance Threat level and identification confidence were easy to confuse: a device the app was only fairly sure it had identified could look like a warning. They are now clearly separate, colour marks risk and nothing else, and a new legend explains both.
