This game just doesn’t seem to get the love that other G5 games do. I just wish more hidden object games could be played vertically. We are doing our best to add more content to Hidden Epee as quickly as possible. ### 3/5 — good game but… *2023-09-17* UPDATE to previous: Developers keep replying the game can be won with no expenditures but if they think trying 25 times just to complete one game and then only if you use the one free gift you get daily is fun they have a different definition of fun. I am deleting and going back to Empires, Sherlock, and Wild West - they are fun and generous with freebies. Gameplay is enjoyable but this is one of the more stingy games of it's genre. It gets hard fast and they don't give anything away. What they charge for what they you give you back in the way of help items is extraordinary. I usually play these games and buy a few charge ups here and there to say thanks for the game, but in this case it will just be play and if I lose go onto the next game and come back another day. The objects are very small or just not in the picture until you run out of time. It is very hard to get any assemblers or complete daily quests and contracts. It’s fun but the game gets stale after awhile. It also seems like you can’t move on unless you use or buy app purchases. The energy goes by quickly. This game should gradually become more complex as you go but it is hard just in the beginning stages. ### 1/5 — Time to Delete *2024-04-23* No updates, daily/weekly quests that can never be completed (complete story collections and/or quests) because there are no more stories or quests, extremely stingy with crystals, and unlocked the bank location only to close it again with no other way to get crystals other than spending real money to get them. That’s some pretty weak tea. Moving on to something that’s actually fun to play. In my opinion this is the worst game, where only 1 out of 100 collection has one magnified glass, and that’s all. You have to buy everything in this game, or you will be stuck forever on Level 6. Good luck! ### 2/5 — Lost Energy *2022-12-26, version 1.13.1200* I’ve enjoyed the game until today. I’m at level 93 and, for no apparent reason, my maximum energy level was cut from 595 to 360. I’ve submitted the issue to G5; no response yet what with the holiday. Still, bad form to cut my energy with no explanation! And I’ve spent actual money on this game! UPDATE: Since I wrote my original review, I’ve discovered that: 1) banishing monsters gives half the energy it did before; 2) level increases come with energy increase of only 2 instead of 5; 3) it still requires the same amount of energy even with the energy decrease I already mentioned.
