“Hidden Cities” is the result of a three year (2019-22) collaborative research project “Public Renaissance: Urban Cultures of Public Space between Early Modern Europe and the Present” funded by the Humanities in the European Research Area (HERA).

Awful that someone gave a 1 star review just because they hadn’t taken their phone off silent mode. Really nasty thing to do to all concerned who have put so much work into this wonderful App. Great pleasure of mine is exploring places with an audio commentary and this is terrific. Really entertaining and informative for a visitor like me to Exeter. Absolutely loved it and I had a great day out

Currently the audio content of this app doesn’t work for me.

**Developer response:** Hi - thank you for your feedback, really sorry to hear you had a bad experience. 

If you have your phone on 'silent mode' the audio will only play if you have headphones plugged in. If you take your phone off silent mode, the audio will play through your phone's speaker.
