On my IPad, many required tasks are impossible as my finger blocks the view. Hidden item stories don’t highlight the requires items in the text. Mini games are dated and very hard to tap on required items and areas, as well as other frustrating glitches. This game is about a year old but must’ve been the brief time when Domini started listening about complaints. Although they went back to not caring anymore soon after🙇🏻‍♀️. That being said, this one had diverse puzzles & made you want to continue because of the well written storyline. Their were the usual Domini line up in inventory but also included several new items so it didn’t seem as redundant. I’m Welsh so the King Aurther legend has always picked me interest. As usual the well done graphics & voice overs. The collectibles have a story to tell that shows they did their homework. I’m really ticked off! ### 1/5 — Done with Domini *2024-09-10, version 1.0.6* Sometimes I’ve enjoyed Donimi because the hops are unique. But this game is the last one for me. I liked the title much better when Eipix was making it. This one was sluggish, difficult to follow and aggravating. The ending of the bonus chapter was just ridiculous. A sad waste. UPDATE: gave it some time and tried again. Some of the more annoying problems are better, but we’re still slapped on the hand when we touch too many objects in a scene — childish crime scene tape pops up to put us in our place. This was a fun title with the Sam character but unfortunately that’s not the case now. Domini did reach out last time and ask for more input, so here it is. After several times exiting the game and starting over, the problem remained so I deleted it. A few days later I downloaded game again and everything worked fine. 👍 ### 5/5 — Hidden Expedition: A King’s Line by LynxMinx *2021-09-18, version 1.0.1* UPDATE September 14: Apparently there is now an update for Puss In Boots and all the issues have been repaired. However I cannot access the review site, so please look for my rating at some point on this site after I play. Hidden Expedition was an incredible gem. It blended Arthurian mythology with a wild goose chase across Europe, from Wales to London, on to Rome and Lilles and back to Cornwall. Your protagonist was not a detective for a change, but a linguist/cryptographer. The graphics were magnificent, the cinematography was amazing and the gameplay was exciting and fast-paced. Collectibles included shields, Arthurian artifacts and fact cards. There was a plethora of tasks at each location, from the mundane (clearing thorns with a glove, digging with a shovel, fanning away toxic fumes) to novel ones, such as using a centrifuge and other neat inventory items. I won’t spoil the game for you. It had a nice variety of HO scenes, as well as enjoyable puzzles/games. There was my one of my favorite genres included: a maze. The game was lengthy inclusive of the bonus adventure. It seemed shorter because I loved it so much and didn’t want it to end. The overall quality assurance was much better than in previous games. There was a bit of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface, but it was mild enough to where I did not get frustrated. The only other issue was that in the collectibles section, the descriptions were written in such large text that they ran off the gameplay screen. Domini needs to monitor small details as well as overall gameplay. Thus, my actual rating will be 4.5 stars. Gamers, if you love adventure and intrigue, as well as myths and legends, this is a must-purchase game. Remember, players, after I play Puss in Boots I will rate it here, as I cannot access the review site.
