The graphics and scenery are gorgeous and the atmosphere and music fit perfectly. Good voice acting, smooth gameplay and teleport via map. There's a lovely mixture of interesting (not too tricky) mini games and interactive HOS with the usual collectables and morphs. Eipix are one of my favourite devs (after FIVE-BN of course!). 😍 I also had problems "focusing the picture" but after looking at the strategy guide I realised that I had to focus much further to the right of the screen than I had been doing and it worked straight away. Such a great change from the usual monsters and demons theme. Let's have more of these "believable" games! Getting around the scenes is really good and lots of ways to know where to go and when. This for me is what makes a game something to enjoy... Unlike some of BF other games where struggles are required every step. Hint and skip loading are quick and puzzles well explained. Think from here on in I am going to wait for new releases before buying ... If this game is anything to go by .. Well done big fish... Just the ticket! Graphics and story really good too!! At the end of an excellent play experience but can't seem to master the "get the picture in focus" bit! Can Anyone help before I give up .. ??? We've been gaming for awhile now, right? and we know what is required for a game to flow smoothly. I know my iPad is kept up with the newest updates, etc. Pros: a decent premise for a story, with good graphics, objects to collect and use, and hidden objects. The puzzles are a hit and miss. Cons: some puzzles are impossible to figure out. I like the originality a lot, but if they'd only hint of a purpose or strategy. Not all puzzles are poorly designed, though. Draccy was right. Same puzzle, same no solving it. The clunker comes in the cave scene near the end, where you have to take the two circles w/hands and move them until the scene comes into focus with its overlay. I've brought it into focus many times over two days. Have watched the walk through tutorial on a gamer's YouTube channel. Have studied the Big Fish strategy guide. Nothing seems to work for this particular puzzle, and like Draccy's review stated, there's no skip option at all, not even for the casual level. So I guess I'm done with this game. No bonus game or any extras since I can't finish. I'm quite disappointed and bummed. Am sure hoping the developers will improve the game play in these clunky spots. Big Fish, I've been staying away from your recent games for the past 1/2 year as they have either been goofy, horror filled, or subpar. I'd hoped another Hidden Expedition would be a few steps up from the past. Maybe soon? For as it stands, it's not at the moment. I will try to get a refund. Har. While some puzzles are tough, so far I have gotten through until the hands in the cave. My issue is trying to bring the "statue" into focus in the cave. There is no skip bottom, and as my hands do shake, it is impossible for me to get past this. I am forever stuck here unless there is a way to do it. I went to the guide and although it shows positions of the 2 "handprints", I am still unable to make it work. Anything u can tell me to move on? There's a spot in this adventure , very near the 'Secluded Chamber', where a cleverly conceptualized MEGA Challenge rolls seamlessly into an amazing HOP, (hours upon hours of gaming, in search of such a moment... pure & utter genius!). A MUST-have for the seasoned player. Also: 20 compounded HOPS w. Morphing objects, Collectibles, panoramic scenes, good length. Some of the mini-games & scene solutions are not immediately obvious... thought-provoking.... once again, a great selection for seasoned players.
