## What is Hidden Leaves?

Hidden Leaves is a quiet place to read the Tao Te Ching, the classic text attributed to Laozi.

Every day brings a new Verse of the Day, the same one on the Home tab, in the optional notification and on your widget. Want more? Tap New Verse for another chapter.

READ
• All 81 chapters in two classic public-domain translations: Russian (Konissi–Tolstoy) and English (James Legge, 1891)
• Text laid out line by line, with the chapter number in words
• Choose Russian, English or "same as system" in Settings

REFLECT
• Divination: pick a chapter and line, or describe what is on your mind, and the app suggests a passage that fits. This happens on your device, nothing is sent anywhere
• Diary: write down your thoughts, add lines from the chapter to your entry, and search later
• Optionally save your mood to Apple Health. The app only saves what you log and never reads your Health data

SHARE
• Turn a verse into a beautiful card for Instagram Stories or messages

ON YOUR WRIST AND HOME SCREEN
• Apple Watch app: the verse of the day and quick notes from your wrist, synced with your diary
• Widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. Notifications are optional and you set the time.

Hidden Leaves is a reading and journaling app. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
